Dalton McGuinty Admits Early Retirement

NEWS: Last night Dalton McGuinty finally admitted what Ontario families have known for a long time – he is tired and out of gas.

In a year end interview with Paul Bliss that aired last night on CTV, Dalton McGuinty was asked point blank if he was going to stay for four more years after the election. Dalton McGuinty refused to say he’s committed. Ontario families deserve a Premier that's 100 percent committed. Not one who's going to hang it up. While Dalton McGuinty is tired and out of gas, Ontario PC Leader Tim Hudak is committed to the job and here for the long term. If Dalton McGuinty can’t commit to another term, then the people of Ontario deserve better. Let's be clear. A vote for Dalton in the next election and you don’t know what (or who) you’ll get. QUOTES: “Ontario families are not surprised Dalton McGuinty is ready to hang it up. This government has looked tired and like they are out of gas for a long time.” --Lisa MacLeod, Ontario PC MPP for Nepean-Carleton “Ontario families deserve a Premier that's 100 percent committed, not one who is going to hang it up. Our leader, Tim Hudak, is committed to the job and looks forward to showing up each day to do the job that needs to get done." --Lisa MacLeod, Ontario PC MPP for Nepean-Carleton QUICK FACTS: Signs that Dalton McGuinty is tired and out of gas include: Backtracking almost every day on issues like UFC, banning the KFC Double Down, banning chocolate milk, teaching sex-ed to six year olds and his secret eco-taxes. His constant attack on the pocketbook of Ontario families with his HST tax grab, health tax, skyrocketing hydro bills, auto insurance hikes, secret hydro tax, and eco-tax. He’s losing Liberal MPPs left, right and centre and is facing a Caucus revolt on his key priorities like the HST. CONTACT: Lisa MacLeod, MPP Nepean-Carleton
