Darien Lake Theme Park Set to Open May 8 for its 29th Season

Darien Center, New York (May 4, 2010) --Darien Lake Theme Park will open its gate on May 8^th to celebrate 29 years of family fun. Opening day is the perfect time for a spring getaway to enjoy the thrill of the coasters, the excitement of winning a game and the delight of a delicious plate of sugary funnel cake! Thrill seekers can conquer the 6 adrenaline-pumping roller coasters like the heart-pounding Ride of Steel. This fast-paced ride features a 75 miles-per-hour drop with twists and turns leaving riders breathless. Younger children can laugh and play in Adventure Isle, featuring 12 kiddie rides that parents and kids can enjoy together.
