Dead MadTux Company Provides Distributor of Racism Anonymity

Someone in Minnesota is using the name of Canada Free Press (CFP) to distribute racist material by fax. Lt. Michael Nibbe, of the Edina Police Dept. has identified the fax distributor as “the owner of 1-888-578-2575”. “If you have an auto-dialer, please delete fax number 952-***-****,” Lt. Nibbe, citing MN State Statute 609.79 Obscene or Harassing Telephone Calls, wrote to the faxer on City of Edina letterhead yesterday.

Lt. Nibbe’s letter brought a blocked telephone call from the fax distributor. “His number was not shown on my phone and he has no desire to give it to me,” Lt. Nibbe wrote in an email to CFP. “It sounds like he is a resident of Minnesota so I will take another look at (it) from another angle. “His comments were: He won’t send these faxes to anyone’s private home. He gets the numbers off the Internet, so if we want them stopped, we need to take the city fax number off the Internet. “Our conversation went about 1/2 hour and he reminded me the Constitution gives the freedom of speech...there is no Constitutional right not to be offended. If we don’t like the faxes...just throw them away. “It appears he has nothing at all to do with you other than copying some of your info onto his fax.” In other words, the faxer chose CFP as the vehicle to send out his racist message! He chose Sher Zieve’s March 7 column, Obama White House: Extravagance, Secrecy and Enemies List, adding his own words over the top of the column, which he then faxed out to the Edina Police Dept. “You’re Eating White Castles While the Marxist N-g-er Feasts on $100/lb. steaks” was the faxer’s despicable message. “One has to wonder at the abject stupidity of someone who would change the actual text in my columns to reflect his or her own racist attitudes and then send myriad faxes to at least one police department,” Zieve told CFP yesterday. ‘It’s astounding! That stupidity leads me to believe that the “faxer” is an Obama adherent. Conservatives simply aren’t that stupid. However, this is what those on the Left continue to do. Then they attempt to operate under the pretense that their attacks are really coming from conservatives--when, of course, they are not. “Unfortunately, this is just the latest in a series of attacks and threats from the Left against me. They do not want to have any truth spread about them on their secular Messiah’s blatant yet ulterior motives for the U.S.A. I’m just sorry that Canada Free Press was brought into their ugly loop. But, as you and I both know, telling the truth is not acceptable to the new POTUS’ administration. It’s chilling,” Zieve said. By Googling number 888-578-2575, CFP found a listing for a California-based Linux company called MadTux, with websites Madtux.org and Madtux.com, both of which are now offline as the company appears to have closed its doors on Jan. 1, 2009. It would appear that someone may have bought the toll free number and is using the fax number to send out racist messages over the masthead of innocent parties, anonymously.
