Democrat Infighting Will Mark 2019 Congress

Democrat Infighting Will Mark 2019 Congress Things are not nearly as kosher for House-winning Democrats as the mainstream and social media would have the masses believe. Rather than them celebrating the so-called results of the overhyped Blue Wave that failed to materialize, they’re scrambling to overturn Republican election night victories courtesy of surfacing boxes of ballots forcing recounts for which we already know the outcome.
Count on them politicking rather than governing from January 3, 2019 forward—but only after they’ve evened up the score having overturned as many of the duly elected Republicans that they can. The hapless masses are entering a dismal era where elections don’t matter any more. Yet ironically enough, it is not Republicans—but each other—that are giving Democrats the most toil and trouble. Young, out to take down old guard members, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) like New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib are gung-ho to plant a big red rose (the DSA’s fist-raising symbol) on Nancy Pelosi and other progressive oldsters. Downright laughable that the ruling progressive/left, which is really the cause for their rise, are now trying to hold back the red rose tide. “Resistance” leader Barack Obama has left a hole the size of a crater in the Democrat Party of the day. Back in 2016, Hillary Clinton by trying to cheat Bernie Sanders out of the election, gave birth to the rise of Ocasio-Cortez. Now that they see the imminent fall of the traditional Democrat Party, they’ve sent out Valerie Jarrett to stick her fingers into the crumbling dyke. For the old guard Dem leadership it’s ‘Nancy Pelosi for House Speaker or Bust’.

“On Tuesday Valerie Jarrett -- the real brains and power behind the throne during the Obama years -- wrote an op-ed for CNN strongly supporting Pelosi's bid. (PJ Media)
“The stakes couldn't be higher. And House Democrats cannot afford to put forward anyone less than their smartest, savviest, most tenacious and strategic member -- someone with a track record of successful leadership. That person is Nancy Pelosi. “Of course, Jarrett and her former boss owe Pelosi one and she knows it. Pelosi did more to get Obamacare passed than any other Democrat.”
There’s infighting among Democrats, some of whom are calling for a “fresh face” as House Speaker.
“After the surprise election of Republican Scott Brown in 2010 to fill the seat vacated by the death of Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts, the Democrats were stripped of the 60th vote needed to avoid a possible GOP filibuster on the ACA. () “Some recommended Democrats retreat and settle for a children's health care bill.
"But Pelosi as speaker never lost her nerve. "You go through the gate. If the gate's closed, you go over the fence. If the fence is too high, we'll pole vault in,"  she said."If that doesn't work, we'll parachute in. But we're going to get health care reform passed for the American people.” “Thanks to her sheer force of will and determination, along with her fellow members of Congress who put the health of the American people first, the ACA was signed in March 2010.
“One thing that most of Pelosi's detractors don't talk about but which I have freely admitted for years was that she was a very powerful and effective speaker. She got people to willingly march to the ends of their careers to get the ACA passed. She's formidable in the role. There's a reason she's remained atop Democratic leadership despite the shellacking they took in the two previous midterm elections.”

Democratic socialist and Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) spent her first day in Washington, D.C. as an incoming freshman by joining climate protestors in House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) office. (NTK Network)

“Dozens of protestors with the groups Sunrise Movement and Justice Democrats were staging a sit-in and greeted Ocasio-Cortez with raucous applause when she entered the office. “Ocasio-Cortez took time to high-five some of the protestors in the room before briefly addressing the crowd. “I just want to let you all know how proud I am of each and every single one of you. For putting yourselves and your bodies and everything on the line to make sure we save our planet,” Ocasio-Cortez said.”
Meanwhile, the hey days of Democrat control by Barack, Michelle and Jarrett are long gone.

Barack Obama’s “Resistance” has shown itself as a weak one

Barack Obama’s “Resistance” has shown itself as a weak one, and even some Democrats now ignore the Messiah of 2008. Already showing the disturbing signs that inevitably come with aging, Nancy Pelosi now 78, will be 80 years old in the 2020 presidential election campaign. Will Jarrett’s ringing endorsement be enough to silence the “fresh face” cries? Not likely with YOUNG panthers eagerly waiting to replace her. All is not well in the new House of the Democrats when internecine infighting threatens to take it down. Get ready for the Democrat Brawl that will pass off as the New Congress of 2019.
