Democrats target Rep. Nunes with sham ethics probe

America! We have to stop this!

“We've got all the facts on our side. And were going to file in federal court because I'm not gonna sit here and compete against the media....I will win, in court, and they'll have a chance to cooperate, and they'll have to show how they work with somebody who's been indicted, which is likely conspiring to obstruct justice.”

Nunes continued, describing how the news story was derived by “listening to somebody who's been indicted, and not only that, but it's their lawyer. So you're talking about third and fourth hand hearsay...to dirty up the leader of the Republicans on the Intelligence committee that just destroyed their complete narrative that they've been pushing, this new Ukraine hoax they've been pushing for the last two months.”

We even see news stories saying Nunes actually did it, no “alleged” necessary. And since “the news” says it, that seems to be equivalent to a conviction for Democrats in the House of Representatives, who are saying that they will open an ethics investigation of Nunes, not because of something he did, but because an easily discredited, deliberately false news story said so.

The Democrats are so delusional about their self-proclaimed victory in their hearings, which actually turned up no evidence that would stand up in a courtroom, they can't wait even two days to begin to eliminate the opposition.

America! We have to stop this! The same methodology used to create a case against Trump in the Russia hoax and the Ukraine hoax is being used against Nunes and will continue to be used against anyone that gets in their way.

Their methodology: concoct stories, spread them however you can, perhaps through the media, through a dossier (Russia hoax), or through the gossip mill (Ukraine hoax) and then use them as facts in legal or House of Representatives investigations.

But one wonders, if the Judiciary committee receives Adam Schiff's railroad-job Articles of Impeachment to present to the whole House of Representatives to vote on, then the basis for non-stop investigation of the President ends once the House's final vote for impeachment is taken. The nearly three year investigation comes to an end - or does it?

Adam Schiff would have to give up his role of Prosecutor in Chief and get back to being a legislator. Dictators rarely relinquish their power willingly, and being able to relentlessly lie with no challenge from the prevailing media

has only encouraged bigger lies - or should I say bigger eyes!

Our nation, currently unhinged from its Constitutional moorings as one half of the Legislative branch of the government fashions itself as a mini Executive and Judicial branch, has never seen such an authoritarian power grab. Will they give up that role and go back to being legislators? I'm very doubtful of that. How do you plot out your next five moves in a chess match when the rules change after each move?

One trend is certain to continue, though, if the House Democrats' power grab continues. Public support for the Democrats will continue to erode and greater acceptance of President Trump by those who were previously against him will continue to grow. That would lead to disastrous results for the Democrats on Election Day, now less than a year away.
