There will be a key Special Election for the House of Representatives in Pennsylvania’s 12th District in just a few weeks. Pro-troop supporters can make the difference and keep Democrat candidate Mark Critz, a lead staffer of the late John Murtha, from winning this seat and carrying on the special favors politics Murtha was famous for.
The Washington Post is reporting that defense contractors are pouring money into his campaign because he was the one responsible for the special earmarks Murtha received as part of the run-away federal spending that is sending America’s national debt through the ceiling. It is literally through the ceiling as Congress even had to vote to extend the legal ceiling!

The poll recently released April 20th by Public Policy Polling puts Burns at a small but telling lead, 44 % of voters prefer burns over Murtha’s former staffer who got 41%. But with Pelosi and special interests pouring money into this election, Burns cannot hold on to his lead without our help.
Murtha was famous for criticizing our troops and calling his own constituents racist. Despite being a Marine himself, Murtha has critized our military and even called a group of Marines guilty of murder when the facts have now proven they were victims of false charges.
Do we want someone to carry on Murtha’s legacy of slandering our brave troops, fat earmark checks, and voting with Nancy Pelosi every step of the way? Tim Burns, who is challenging Mark Critz for the seat and opposing Murtha’s legacy, is strongly conservative and would support our troops in the War on Terror.
In a recently released campaign ad, Mark Critz tried to capitalize on his old boss’ legacy by showing himself with Murtha and playing up the whole relationship between the boss and the staffer. Mark Critz would carry on Murtha’s legacy of pork barrel spending and corrupt Washington earmarks, and he is not the least bit shy to admit it!
Can we also expect Critz to attack our troops the way John Murtha did? Did Critz agree with his boss when he claimed our Marines were guilty of “murder” in “cold-blood” in Haditha, Iraq? Was Mark Critz present when Murtha met with Code Pink and accepted an award from them for selling out our troops? Would Critz also embrace Medea Benjamin and be all hugs and kisses with that despicable anti-American group the way Murtha did?
We don’t want ANOTHER Murtha in Congress! Tell that career-politician Mark Critz to look elsewhere if he needs a new job!
Tim Burns is a pro-troop candidate who will always support our troops and their missions. He would never turn his back on our troops, accuse them of atrocities they did not commit, and then REFUSE to apologize, as Murtha did.
