Distant memories

I grew up a Catholic. Nowadays they are hard to find, but that is not the problem. The problem is that there is a proclivity to have a very hard time finding a mate or friend with class, dignity, character, and all the finer attributes. I am not saying that Catholics and or Christians are a guarantee of getting these, but they have got a very much stronger likelihood of having these characteristics emerge over the aging process in their personhood than a non-Christian. Other religions seem to have a giving ability, but usually to their own causes within their own belief area. Christians seem to cross borders and will do, and serve, and give, as long as it is the 'Just/Fair/Humane' cause.

And this class of people are dying. The '60s and '70s have made them 'angry' at their Churches, their politicians, their leaders, their news services, and there has a been a serious hit to their sense of TRUST. There has been a 'atrial-fibrillation' to the heart of their lives by the sputtering, pulsing, erratic, self involved, overdone, ego-centric delving into the psyche of themselves provided by the '60's cultists. This does not seem like a lot, but it is HUGE. This 'heart' pause has caused a major gap in time space and has allowed the leaders of this false narrative to fill that gap with a 'I-Me-My' Narcissism that we are now dealing with, and threatens our very nation to its core. And as we try to get back to shore, the leftists are cutting off all paths to safety with more hideous nonsense than one could ever really think could be concocted, with their blasts on the Environment and Racism and Sexism and Gun bashing and the Constitution bashing and Religion bashing and a major rewrite of our history; AND filing the airwaves with lies and mysticism and conspiracy theories, and all kinds of distortions, and this has the net effect of keeping us off the 'railroad tracks' of a good and wholesome life, with a productive community, and makes it even more difficult to get those that have drifted, and want to get back to their roots of a CLASS, DIGNITY and GOOD CHARACTER filled life, on a straight and true course.* And if we don't get back to shore soon the ship will be lost forever...These things will be distant memories and or the memory of a small minority of those who knew of it, and are now relegated to a small section of what used to be the USA, that we will be fighting from behind on for a 1,000 years. It was a great time, and a dignified time, and was of a Nation that had tremendous CLASS! But GUILT imposed by the absurd 'left' killed that.... Will we let them? James W Sherwood Carmel,NY
