It’s destined to go down as the greatest DIVERSION of all time, Presidential 2024 front runner Donald Trump interviewed by former Fox host Tucker Carlson—at the same time as the GOPe Wisconsin “trap debate” hosted by anti-Trump Fox News.
It should go without asking: Which one will roughly 80-million MAGA folk be most likely to tune in on?
MAGA followers will be cheering on their indefatigable leader who, even in the midst of the persecution of his 4th ‘indictment’, is STILL out there outfoxing Fox.
Kudos to savvy Conservative Tree House for letting us all in on it by letting the proverbial cat out of the bag:

“With commandant Bill Sammon retired, comrade Brett Baier was positioned to use the pending political indictments to pepper Trump with questions that would assist the feds. By not subjecting himself to the constructed operation, President Trump has avoided the trap.

As Ralph Kramden on ‘The Honeymooners’ used to say, “How sweet it is!”
That this is happening as Georgia authorities are fixing to portray Dem Enemy #1 DJT as a spent force decked out in an orange jumpsuit is the cherry on top of the cake.
That Fox News only two days ago came out with yet another one of its baloney polls displays their desperation in wanting rid of Trump and his never-say-die MAGA team:
“In connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 election, over half of registered voters think former President Donald Trump did something illegal.” (Fox News, Aug. 16. 2023)
“That’s according to a new Fox News Poll conducted before Trump and 18 others were indicted in Georgia for alleged efforts to challenge his 2020 election defeat in the state.”
“Fifty-three percent believe Trump did something illegal when it comes to efforts to change the 2020 election results, including most Democrats (90%) and 6 in 10 independents (62%). About 1 in 10 Republicans think the former president did something illegal (13%).

“Among all voters, 20% believe Trump did something wrong, but not illegal, while one quarter say he did nothing seriously wrong (24%).
“In a late Monday night interview with Fox News Digital, Trump stated that the Georgia indictment is "politically-inspired."
"Fifty-one percent of voters believe the way the Department of Justice is treating the former president is motivated by partisan politics (46% say it’s not). Almost all Republicans think it’s politically driven while majorities of Democrats and independents think it’s not.”
Back to Wednesday’s GOP debate hosted by devious Fox from the unlikeliest of places:
NEW YORK TIMES – The former president’s apparent decision to skip the first debate is a major affront both to the Republican National Committee and to Fox News, which is hosting the event.(NY Times, Aug. 18, 2023)
“Former President Donald J. Trump plans to upstage the first Republican primary debate on Wednesday by sitting for an online interview with the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, according to multiple people briefed on the matter.
“In the past 24 hours, Mr. Trump has told people close to him that he has made up his mind and will skip the debate in Milwaukee, according to two of the people briefed on the matter.
[…] The exact timing and platform of the interview with Mr. Carlson remain unclear, but if it goes ahead as currently planned, the debate-night counterprogramming would serve as an act of open hostility.
The chairwoman of the R.N.C., Ronna McDaniel, has privately urged Mr. Trump to attend the debate, even traveling to his private club in Bedminster, N.J., last month to make her pitch in person.
And Fox News has been drawn into a public battle not only with Mr. Trump but with Mr. Carlson, who is still on contract and being paid by Fox despite having his show taken off the air. Fox sent Mr. Carlson a cease-and-desist letter after he aired a series of videos on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. The Trump campaign’s conversations with Mr. Carlson — and the possibility of counterprogramming — have previously been reported by multiple news organizations.
Spokesmen for the Trump campaign, the R.N.C. and Fox News did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Mr. Carlson also did not respond to requests for comment.
Fox News executives and personalities have been lobbying the former president, both publicly and privately, to participate in the debate. But Mr. Trump has been openly attacking Fox and has privately vented his animosity for the chairman of Fox Corporation, Rupert Murdoch.
Even so, Mr. Trump has privately also given top executives and anchors at Fox the impression that he was open to and even seriously considering their entreaties.
Earlier this month, Mr. Trump hosted for dinner the Fox News president Jay Wallace and the network’s chief executive, Suzanne Scott, who had gone to Bedminster hoping to persuade Mr. Trump to come to the debate. They left the dinner believing there was a decent chance he would show up, according to two people familiar with the dinner.
Easy to con those who will be easily conned.

The latest indictment came from the Fulton County, Ga., district attorney, who accused Mr. Trump of taking part in a criminal conspiracy to subvert the transfer of power after he lost the 2020 election in the state. Fox News, desperate to get viewers back since the 2020 Election should take note of MAGA attitude, which Sundance at Conservative Tree House describes best:
“Within the epic battle that 2024 represents, the multinationals are deploying every available weapon in their arsenal and the rebellion is running an insurgency campaign while withstanding the constant bombardment. While much is yet to be determined, our flag is still raised, and we stand steadfast -living our best life- while the bombs burst all around us.”
