Donald Trump: Saving America or Saving RINO Hides?

Donald Trump:Saving America or Saving RINO Hides?
Couldn’t help but wonder today where former President Donald Trump is coming from in his declaration of support for RINO Kevin McCarthy, who has his head up RINO Senator Mitch McConnell’s equally RINO rump. It happened when I read the following note sent by ‘G’ to one of CFP’s favorite pundits where he wrote:
“This is so sad. The best president we've had in my long lifetime has apparently not learned anything. Just as he trusted and appointed the fat swamp RINO Barr who backstabbed him over and over again, he now supports the RINO McCarthy who is well loved by the demonrat swamp and the RINO Senator McConnell. Bring on DeSantis!”

After RINO McCarthy is elected? What kind of game playing is THAT Donald T?

Trump’s declaration for McCarthy support as it appeared on Trump’s Truth Social: “Former President Donald Trump said Republican lawmakers opposing Kevin McCarthy as speaker of the House are playing a "dangerous game," telling Fox News Digital that he supports the GOP leader and "getting the deal done," while stressing that he is against "allowing this to continue onward.” (Fox News, Jan. 4, 2023).
“In an exclusive phone interview Wednesday, the former president, who announced a 2024 presidential campaign last year, urged the faction of House Republicans blocking McCarthy, R-Calif., for speaker to stop the “game." "Let’s get this thing over with," Trump told Fox News Digital. "The problem is, there is a big downside to this game that is being played." "I think it is a dangerous game, and, frankly, if they are not happy with him, they can do something about it at a later date," Trump said, again stressing that it is a "dangerous game.”

“He added, "I support [McCarthy] and I support getting the deal done. What I don’t support is allowing this to continue onward." (Fox News) “Trump's comments come after he posted on Truth Social on Wednesday morning, saying "it's now time for all of our GREAT Republican House Members to VOTE FOR KEVIN." "CLOSE THE DEAL, TAKE THE VICTORY, & WATCH CRAZY NANCY PELOSI FLY BACK HOME TO A VERY BROKEN CALIFORNIA,THE ONLY SPEAKER IN U.S. HISTORY TO HAVE LOST THE ‘HOUSE’ TWICE! REPUBLICANS, DO NOT TURN A GREAT TRIUMPH INTO A GIANT & EMBARRASSING DEFEAT. IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE, YOU DESERVE IT," Trump posted "Kevin McCarthy will do a good job, and maybe even a GREAT JOB - JUST WATCH!” “McCarthy, who has served as GOP leader, failed on three ballots to garner enough support to become speaker of the House on Tuesday, and at press time failed in a 4th ballot count today."
“Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., led the House Freedom Caucus charge against McCarthy's bid for speaker. He and 19 other Republican members have frozen the House in opposition to McCarthy while solidifying their support behind Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio. (Fox News, Jan 4, 2023)
“However, Jordan nominated McCarthy for speaker. “Despite Trump's comments on Truth Social, Gaetz told Fox News Digital on Wednesday morning that endorsement of McCarthy for speaker has not changed the congressman’s view on the former president or GOP leader, nor has swayed his vote. "Sad!" Gaetz said in a Wednesday statement. "This changes neither my view of McCarthy, nor Trump, nor my vote.”

Good for Gaetz standing his ground

Good for Gaetz standing his ground against “My-way-or-the-highway” Donald Trump—even knowing that the political strategy will now be to turn RINOs and their clique virulently against him. This is not the first time we see Trump turning turncoat. Have to admit that some folk were disappointed to read that Trump, the first sitting president to address the March For Life, in the summer of 2020, now blames pro-life Republicans for the humiliating 2022 Midterm Election loss. “After Donad (sic) Trump left office and Roe was overturned, there was another political effect: There were strong indications that the end of Roe helped the Democrats a great deal in the midterm elections, and was a big reason why the expected “red wave” never materialized. (1945, Jan. 4, 2023)
“Trump, in a recent post, said exactly that. “In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump stated that “it wasn’t my fault that the Republicans didn’t live up to expectations in the MidTerms,” as reported by Jezebel. “It was the ‘abortion issue,’ poorly handled by many Republicans, especially those that firmly insisted on No Exceptions, even in the case of Rape, Incest, or Life of the Mother, that lost large numbers of Voters.” “This put Trump, as he launches another presidential campaign for 2024, at odds with the Christian right, a key part of his base. "

Canada Free Press has been solidly pro-Trump ever since he stepped off the Golden Escalator

There can be little doubt that Canada Free Press (CFP) has been solidly pro-Trump ever since he stepped off the Golden Escalator and up to the plate to take on obnoxious Hillary Clinton in 2016. But even way back then, Trump came to the voters as a presidential candidate influenced by an ‘honorary’ RINO. “Constitutional expert talk show radio giant Mark Levin is right on the money when he reminds us that there is nothing noble or altruistic in Trump’s sudden arrival on the front doorstep of the Barack Obama eligibility issue. (CFP, April 17, 2011 )
“Chump was calling Bush EVIL and demanded his IMPEACHMENT because of the Iraq war and in the middle of that war. “He said Bush lied to get us into Iraq. His comments were vile and outrageous, not unlike the America-hating leftists who sought to undermine our armed forces there. Now he wants us to believe that his criticism of Bush was because Bush’s poor record set the stage for Obama? Chump attacked Bush over Iraq because if you were a big-mouth, attention-seeking liberal, it was the thing to do. He had no altruistic or principled conservative motive for doing so at the time and expressed none.” (Mark Levin FaceBook, April 16, 2011). “Trump was back in the news yesterday because Michael Cohen, who doubles as his chief political adviser is a registered Democrat who voted for Obama in 2008.(CFP) "And get this gem from alphabet soup television network land: “Cohen, 44, is known around the office--and around New York--as Trump’s “pit bull”. Some have even nicknamed him “Tom”, a reference to Tom Hagen, the consigliere to Vito Corleone in the Godfather movies. “It means that if somebody does something Mr. Trump doesn’t like, I do everything in my power to resolve it to Mr. Trump’s benefit,” Cohen said in an interview with ABC News. “If you do something wrong, I’m going to come at you, grab you by the neck and I’m not going to let you go until I’m finished.”
In the end, Cohen, who stabbed Trump in the back just as Bill Barr was late to do, spent time in the slammer for fraud.
“Now we have more than Trump’s turncoat antics of October 2008, with his 11th-hour dumping of McCain for Obama, and what we now have is proof positive that the man who doubled as his chief political advisor is a fully-fledged Democrat.(CFP)

“Well, it was just business.”

“On the things that truly matter side of the ledger, can it really get much worse than that? “According to ABC News, “Late last year, Cohen co-founded the “draft Trump” website, “Should Trump run?” and the site has received more than 830,000 hits. “Trump has already said that he will run as an Independent if the Repubs won’t nominate him. “(For those hanging onto their faith in Trump because he’s a bona fide businessman: The reality is that any good businessman knows who to pander to, knows where his clientele is and precisely how and when to strike the best deal.) (CFP) “That’s also an atmosphere that unfortunately provides perks for the picking the day he drops all those who believed in him on their pointed heads when he can always write it off by saying, “Well, it was just business.”
Back in the day, I believe that Mark Levin and small, independent CFP were the only ones writing or talking about it. Today it’s easy to see the politics of what the RINOs are trying to do when they refer to Gaetz and the 19 conservatives fighting to keep RINO McCarthy out of the Speaker’s chair as “The TALIBAN 20.” That’s what they, like most Democrats do—media smear all those with whom they disagree. Even in our disappointment with Trump, CFP’s heart belongs to MAGA patriots and always will. But we are left to ponder whether MAGA leader Trump is out there saving RINO hides as opposed to saving America by Making America Great Again. Meanwhile, ‘G’ is spot-on: “Bring on DeSantis!”
