Don't Accept Domination Over Your Safety, Decide Dominion Instead

Fellow fighters, I am a Skeptic with a capital "S." One thing I'm not skeptical about is the absolute necessity of creating our own safety instead of choosing being captives to criminality.

Part of this choice is awaiting medicine droplets of government administered security, with amount, frequency and intensity varying by ideology in power.

As a boy, I always had strong premonitions that movies like 'Escape From New York', 'Mad Max', Charlton Heston's 'Omega Man', remade by Will Smith,
or more implausibly, 'Planet of the Apes', weren't fantasy, but were warnings about possible frightening futures.

Fast forward to 2024 and it appears society is on the cusp of sliding from Escape From New York's shaken stability to Omega Man/I Am Legend style instability.

A total Planet of the Apes level collapse waits in the wings as well. I'll leave it to your imagination as to who actual equivalents of victorious simians would be.

My focus on safety creation isn't a solo act trying to hold off an urban apocalypse. It's merely acting on concerns laid out decades ago, wedded with threats assessed in adulthood.

Whether this is a rough patch in history from which we'll emerge wiser and safer or foretold tipping point in fiction enjoyed long ago, my duty is clear: don't accept domination over your safety, decide dominion instead.

It's your duty to take lawful action within your comfort zone too.

Inaction helps these fictional visions become fact.
