Seems that the best defense when you’re up against it from flip-flopping, moving the goalposts and flat out lying—but have the media in your corner—is to start speaking about yourself in the Third Person.
That’s the latest escape hatch for slippery-as-an-eel Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Trapped in his own emails proving his lies, he is in effect teasingly telling his many detractors, ‘Catch me— if you can!’
“On the New York Times podcast "Sway," Fauci said he had spent his life trying to save lives and his critics were trying to paint him as "Hitler." "The more extreme they get, the more obvious how political it is ... ‘Fauci has blood on his hands,’" the infectious diseases expert said of his critics. "Are you kidding me? ... Here’s a guy whose entire life has been devoted to saving lives, and now you’re telling me he’s like Hitler? You know, come on, folks.” “More than one critic mocked Fauci for referring to himself in the third person.”We kind of talk to little children this way: “The boogeyman will get you”, “Santa will leave a lump of coal in the bottom of your Christmas stocking”, “Wait til’ Daddy gets home”. But children are oftentimes a lot less gullible than adults. Fauci wants grown folk to believe that he is “Science”. If you don’t happen to have a degree in that discipline, it is impossible to argue against him. But on the way to his on again, off again mask theories, he began tripping over his own necktie.
“Frustrated Americans have hit Fauci after months of his apparent flip-flopping on COVID-19 mandates. His recently leaked emails, obtained by the Washington Post and BuzzFeed News, revealed that he had told colleagues that masks are essentially ineffective, which many noted didn't square with his later public support of national mask mandates. Fauci renewed his argument that those refuting him are actually refuting science, doubling down on his insistence that science evolves and he's evolved with it. (Fox News) "The people who are giving the ad hominems are saying, ‘Ah, Fauci misled us,'" Fauci said. "First he said, ‘no masks,’ then he said 'masks.' Well, let me give you a flash. That’s the way science works.”Doesn’t he know that people being misinformed in a virus he calls a “pandemic”; forced into government Lockdowns, losing jobs and watching the economy of their nations tanking, need much more than a Hollywood-style flash? Doesn’t he know that John Q. Public knows that the science of masks hasn’t changed. If masks didn’t work to protect the masses from catching colds, flus and other viruses, why would they protect folk from contracting the Covid-19 virus? Related:

"It isn't a question of being wrong," Fauci said of his relationship to the science surrounding COVID-19. "It's a question of going with the data as you have, and being humble enough and flexible enough to change with the data.”“Humble enough and flexible enough to change with the data?” A convenient smokescreen if ever there was one! How humble was it to present himself for countless television interviews ad nauseam?

(Fox News) “The thousands of uncovered emails from Fauci also showed that he had been informed that COVID-19 could have escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China, but he spoke out strongly against the theory last year, saying it was almost assured it originated naturally. He has since said that as a scientist, he always kept an "open mind" on the subject, but he was cited in media reports last year as effectively refuting the lab-leak theory espoused by the Trump White House.
“Fauci told Swisher that he still leans toward the belief the virus occurred naturally and would like to see how solid or "flimsy" the evidence is supporting reports that three researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology developed COVID-like symptoms in November 2019.”Wait a minute, didn’t ‘Mr. Science’ have all the answers? Because of all the flip-flopping, shifting goal posts and all the propaganda and misinformation still gushing out from the media, the masses will continue to hold Fauci suspect. Seeing how swiftly he transitioned himself over as Chief Medical Officer for the Joe Biden administration more people are now aware that this was, in essence, an anti-Trump political move and that Fauci has nowhere left to go. Speaking reams about himself in the third person won’t hold his many detractors at bay. The gig’s finally up, Doc.
