Economic recovery?
A burgeoning class of poor people
If we are in "economic recovery" then why are Food Stamps recipients and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance users at an all time high? It's a simple question.
Maybe that is exactly why unemployment isn't ever so much worse. Hoards of people have exhausted unemployment benefits and, unable to find work, are living off the other handouts of government leaving less people to fill the remaining jobs.
While there is angry, and sometimes justified, rhetoric about the high income raked in by corporate bigwigs, little is said about the huge increase in the numbers in poverty. Obama has subjugated millions of people by our economic and social policies.
Where are the liberals and why aren't they demanding that the President and Congress address this serious problem of a burgeoning class of poor people?
