Kids tune out their mother's voice after awhile. Mother's tune out the kids after awhile. Everybody learns to tune out street noise or barking dogs. People in the media don't seem to get it. Sensational headlines with no real story begin to dull the senses. Pretty soon we just skip them, assuming there is nothing there, which is usually the case. The same is true of the reporting on President Trump. We simply do not hear you any more. We know you will bash him, we know you will report his every human frailty, we know you will accuse, try and convict him. So, we just turn you off and tune you out.
