Failure over the pond

Greece, Portugal, Italy

It is a really warped version of events that has the administration spinning the news that the equivalent of 2.3 million workers will go from full to part time as an opportunity.

So what's the matter with the rest of us? Shouldn't we get that same "opportunity" to work less hours and have our insurance paid? It is just that anger that will have this whole thing a European styled economy where we work 30-35 hours a week and Uncle Sam provides the rest. And we all know how well that's worked in Greece and Italy and Portugal. Funny how the media is quiet about those country's economic woes. Wouldn't want the masses here to be reminded of the failures over the pond. There is an old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true." Virginia Sparks
