Father walks through 30 miles of debris from Hurricane Helene to get to his daughter's wedding so he could walk her down the aisle

Jones started driving from South Carolina to Johnson City, Tennessee. When he could not drive any longer, he started walking through the entire night to make it to his daughter's wedding the next morning.

At one point, Jones was stuck in the mud to his knees and had to dodge a backhoe that had not seen him literally.

At another point, he nearly got hit by a car but waved his reflective stake to avoid being hit.

His daughter had no clue what her dad had been through to make it to her wedding.

"That's so emotionally moving that my dad loves me so much that he would come and go through all of that just to get to my wedding."

Jones made it in time to walk her down the aisle.

He gave her the reflective stake as a wedding gift that kept him safe on his trip.
