Free Speech violation in Florida

There are millions of "anti-government" Americans who have never committed a crime, who go to work and church, are great neighbors, terrific parent and grandparents, who love their country but are disenchanted with government.

Now because of some whack-a-doodle brothers and their angry, pitiful mother, a sheriff in Palm Beach County, Florida, wants people to report neighbors who speak out against the government. Point number one: These people were reported. We were warned and we dropped the ball. Point number two: We have something called Freedom of Speech in this country. This idea that to exercise that freedom could get us locked up is scary. If the idea is to silence honest Americans and drive the terrorist underground -- then this sheriff is on the right track. But if the idea is to capture criminals and stop crimes, this guy hasn't a clue. For ideas like this to succeed, good people only need to do nothing. It is time we speak out bravely against such ideas. Wayne A. White
