Yo Jon, while I understand the need for a way to pay off all the debt that’s been built up over the decades, don’t guilt the American people as something we need to do because we’re totally responsible. Politicians on both sides, as a way to suck up to their constituencies, paid them off with lavish labor contracts and pensions, social programs, government contracts and other expenditures they knew we ultimately couldn’t afford, but did so anyway for their own political self interests. If it were up to me, a lot fewer people would be sacrificing and a select few would bear the responsibility.
