In what should be, but isn’t, jaw-dropping News—that Google will undoubtably go out of its way to suppress— the website giant just threw the Canadian Electorate to the Justin Trudeau Liberal Government’s ravenous wolves.

Unless the handful of independent media outlets survive and get their act together, finding the name Pierre Poilievre will be all but impossible between now and the next Canadian federal election, which insiders say will be called in March or April, 2024.

The long ago ‘Do No Evil’-promised Google will now be propping up Trudeau’s brazen move to own the news by buying off the majority of Canadian mainstream media.

Essentially the same dollar value per year—just a different paymaster

Already bought off by PM Trudeau with $600-million from the Public Purse, the one and the same bought-off Canadian mainstream media will be paid $100-million per year from the voluminous Google purse—including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)—already sustained by the Trudeau Liberal Government’s $1.3-billion-plus annual taxpayer dollar bursary.

In other words, the deal Trudeau reached with mega-bucks Google makes $100 million per year available to news companies—the same “news companies” already bought off and paid for within the last five years.

To see how brazen the Google/Trudeau gang-up is, note how the timing of the big deal came into reality:

Announced in September of 2018, Trudeau’s original $600-million deal to the mainstream media is set to expire in March, 2024. Google’s deal will take over where Trudeau’s deal ends.

In other words, it’s essentially the same dollar value per year—just a different paymaster.

Essentially, the Trudeau/Google gang-up deal proves there is more than one way to steal a federal election.

It ultimately boils down to that with the help of one of the world’s largest business operations, Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is now buying the Media In Time for the expected 2024 federal Election.

Trudeau’s intention is to cancel Opposition Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre out of the “News”.

Even though there are little or no media reports on this latest Election move, Poilievre can see his fate:

“Of course, Team Trudeau is directing even more money to the CBC to campaign for Liberals.
“Other outlets, like CP, are now forced to shower Liberals with good news to get their share of the money. Remember that when you see their next hit piece on me.” (Pierre Poilievre--Twitter)

A poll “released this week by Ipsos shows that 72 percent of Canadians think Trudeau should step down and let his Liberal Party select a new leader for the next elections, which are not due until 2025.(DailyMail, Dec. 3, 2024)

“If elections were held today, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre, a 44-year-old upstart who became the opposition leader last year, would handily defeat Trudeau, the polls show.”

Buying the media is buying the Election

Only independent news outlets, including the likes of Canada Free Press, the Calgary-based Western Standard and True North News, Post Millennial, the Epoch Times and Rebel News can fill in the gap, keeping Canadians abreast of what is happening in Canada.

How many Canadians remember that buying the media off in 2018 is how Trudeau was reelected in 2019:

“Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants an American-like, left-leaning mainstream media for Canada—and is investing more than half a billion taxpayers’ dollars to get it. (Canada Free Press, Nov. 23, 2018)

“Watching from the country next door how the American media, which supplies a 90-plus-percent negative coverage of all things President Donald Trump and whose blatant intent is to drive him out of office, Trudeau wants a 90% left-leaning media in place for Canada’s upcoming 2019 federal election.”

And that’s exactly what Trudeau got!

“As he eyes his reelection, Justin Trudeau, who plays for keeps, is coming on like a Banana Republic dictator. (Canada Free Press)
"Buying the media is buying the Election.
"This is what Trudeau was doing before blowing more than half a billion dollars for the domestic media:

"Now the Trudeau government is taking more than one half a billion Canadian tax dollars to prop up the Canadian ‘news’ media:
“The federal government will start subsidizing Canadians’ subscriptions and donations to news media, as well as newsroom salaries, while leaving it up to a panel of journalists to decide which agencies should qualify. (Winnipeg Free Press, Nov. 21, 2018)
“Ottawa earmarked more than a half-billion dollars for media over the next five years, in the economic statement Finance Minister Bill Morneau tabled in Parliament Wednesday.
“Ottawa expects the three initiatives would cost $565 million over a five-year period, ending in March 2024.(Emphasis added)
"It’s necessary to have a journalism sector that is robust in our democracy," Morneau told reporters.
“Like the U.S. media, the Canadian media is currently dominated by the Left. There are few independent media outlets operating on Canadian soil, and Conservative media is suppressed by the social media of the day.
