Guns and Obamacare

Obama's promises

Is this really how we want our country to function, by lies and deceit and a win-at-any-cost mentality?

There are many examples but here is just one. When the President was obsessed with the passage of the Affordable Care Act, he struck deals with everyone to garner their support. One such deal was the removal of a provision that required doctors to ask questions about gun ownership. That was done to get the backing of the National Rifle Association and its many members. It was not what the President really wanted, but he gave in on that battle so that he could win his war. Now he has the opportunity to go back on his deal and he couldn't do it quickly enough. He used an Executive order to allow doctors to ask the questions about guns in the home. This is a President who will promise anything to get his way and renege on that promise whenever he needs to so as to further a different agenda. How many times will people fall for the Obama Promises? This is not a man of his word. Well, they can ask, but so far, we don't have to answer. I expect that will be next. Mrs. Carolyn Brown
