Harry Reid and the Tea Party

Harry Reid says that the Tea Partiers are Anarchists who have taken over. I wondered about the correct definition of anarchy. 1. It is the complete absence of government. Actually, Mr. Reid, we think there is too much government. 2. It is political disorder and violence. Actually, Mr. Reid, we are very orderly and non-violent. 3. It is disorder in any sphere of activity. We'll give you that one, Mr. Reid, but we shoulder no blame, this one is squarely on the the present Executive and Legislative branches.

To quote, "We are in a position where people who don't believe in government, and that's what the Tea Party is all about, are winning." Good to know, Harry, because some days it doesn't feel like we are winning. Your kind words give us hope and inspiration. My sense is that what is good for the goose-Harry, isn't so good for the gander-the Tea Party. At least in Harry's eyes. Let me remind you, Harry, your President said he wouldn't negotiate on the debt ceiling. That pretty much sets the tone, don't you think? And a word to the wise, raising the debt ceiling is not "a simple funding resolution" as you stated. It is an obligation for the American taxpayer, many of whom are Tea Partiers. You would be smart to stop biting the hand that feeds you and your political cronies. Sue Land
