Bless You, Tucker Carlson for driving home an uplifting, all important message with your words:

“Want to be happy? Care only about the opinions of people who love you.”

In our increasingly tossed-up world, Tucker’s words are Words of Wisdom; ones that arrived early during this year’s annual Christmas Season.

"Remain cheerful, positive and clear-headed means staying closest to those in your immediate orbit"

To me, that Tucker’s words happened to reach out to the masses so early in the holiday season, were akin to Tucker’s positivity coming along to light the first of my four Advent candles.

Tucker’s words remind all of us that “to “remain cheerful, positive and clear-headed means staying closest to those in your immediate orbit”.

His warning, “Never hand emotional control to people who don’t love you. Keep your circle really small. You should care only about people who care about you” are a Godsend.

Judy Garland: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Tucker’s words remind me of the lyrics in the song ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’, sung by Judy Garland in the 1944 movie, ‘Meet Me In St. Louis,’ particularly in the words,

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year all our troubles, will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
Next year all our troubles, will be miles away

Once again, as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be together
If the fates allow
Until then, we'll have to muddle through someho
w
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now

In the end, Tucker’s firing by Fox turned out to be a blessing in disguise

The thoughts of Tucker lying abed at night with his dogs, somehow make these cold early Winter nights in faraway Nova Scotia, feel somewhat cozier.

In the end, Tucker’s firing by Fox turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Folk anywhere can find him on his podcasts, no longer having to tune in to Fox News to find some welcome light in a darkening world.

I’m no Judy Garland, but I wish I could sing ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ to the positive and always uplifting Tucker Carlson.

Meanwhile, I will be on the hunt for one of those wind-up music boxes that plays ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,’ and every time I hear it, I’ll be thinking of Tucker Carlson, and his family that includes his beloved dogs.

God Bless You, Tucker Carlson for shining like the bright star that you are in the darkest of nights.

A Blessed Merry Christmas, to all.

Have Yourself a Tucker Carlson-Style Merry Little Christmas.
