Heads knocked off four statues at Our Lady of Fatima grotto outside Burke Catholic church

BURKE, Va. (7News) — Four statues at the grotto of a Catholic church were found vandalized Wednesday morning, damaged beyond repair. At Nativity Catholic Church, the statues of Our Lady of Fatima and those of three children she appeared to (Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta) had their heads knocked off. Fairfax County police said one of the statues also had its hands removed and the head of one of the statues had been taken from the scene. -- More...
