Healthcare.gov crashes during Sebelius photo op, but it's OK because it 'happens every day!'

Yesterday afternoon, Kathleen Sebelius walked into North Shore Hospital near Miami Shores for meet-and-greet photo op. The whole event was designed to be an Affordable Care Act pep rally, orchestrated to show just how effortlessly a person can sign up for Obamacare with the aid of an official "navigator." She smiled for the cameras, shook hands with her lackeys, and then, while the cameras rolled, the website crashed.
As CBS Miami reports:
At a second table, the secretary met Carmen Salero who was trying to sign up online. As the secretary and Salero made small talk, CBS4's Brian Andrews noticed the site crash on the lap top in front of them. "The screen says I'm sorry but the system is temporarily down," Andrews pointed out. "Uh oh," responded the secretary. "That happens every day," said Salero, "it must mean a lot of people are on there trying to get coverage."

Uh-huh. Sure thing. That'swhat it means. We're sure "that happens every day" is a great comfort to the administration. Sadder still is the fact that CBS Miami kicked off their report by touting a miserably small number of Florida enrollees. According to the report only 3571 people have managed to sign up. Keep in mind; this is a state wherehundreds of thousandshave received cancellation notices informing them that they're losing their preferred plans. Yes, President Obama gave them an illegal, unconstitutional, one-year reprieve but they're still headed for the same fate in 2014. So, we have another failed photo op, another ugly news report, another spotlight on the fact that the website still isn't working, and another example of Sebelius looking like a fool. It all adds up to another sterling moment in Obama administation history.
