Hidden costs of Obamacare

I didn't believe it, so I looked it up and sure enough, Section 4205 of Obamacare requires chains of 20 or more locations and persons owning 20 or more vending machines to post calorie and nutrition information at the point of sale. So fast food places must post them on the walls and at the drive throughs. It is estimated by some businesses, such as pizza franchises, that the requirement will cost $5,000 per location because of the thousands of potential combinations of cheeses and toppings.

So, this begs the question -- how do we spoon feed this information to those who place orders for delivery? Or, how many languages are required? Are the rules for a slice of a whole pizza or does to establishment have to do the math both ways? Undoubtedly, prices will go up to cover the cost of compliance, except in chosen places whose owners are granted waivers. In those places, the depressing facts don't need to be displayed. At least not yet. We have known, since Nancy Pelosi told us, that we would have to pass the bill to see what was in. Now we are beginning to see and it isn't pretty. Victoria Vaughn Englewood, FL
