“What connected with a significant number of primary voters was Trump’s strong opposition to illegal immigration and his concern over terrorists entering the U.S. (Power Line) “The textbook effectively characterizes these concerns as “not very-hidden racism” and those who share them as racists. This is controversial, to say the least. I consider it slanderous. “The textbook goes further. It says that Hillary Clinton supporters “worried about the mental stability of the president-elect.” “Some did, or claimed to. But many Trump supporters worried about whether Clinton compromised our national security by criminally using private email servers.”Just like the media of our day does, Trump supporters are lumped into one group:
“The author goes on to describe the president’s supporters as “mostly older, often rural or suburban, and overwhelmingly white.” (Todd Starnes) “Clinton’s supporters feared that the election had been determined by people who were afraid of a rapidly developing ethnic diversity of the country, discomfort with their candidate’s gender and nostalgia for an earlier time in the nation’s history,” the textbook reads. “They also worried about the mental stability of the president-elect and the anger that he and his supporters brought to the nation.”

“In other words, Advanced Placement students are going to be taught that President Trump is mentally insane and his supporters are a bunch of irredeemable deplorables. Such descriptions would be laughable, but this garbage is being shoved into the minds of impressionable American teenagers. (Todd Starnes)Politics has perfected the fine art of the alibi for purveyors of propaganda:
“The book’s publisher defends its handiwork, saying that it underwent “rigorous peer review to ensure academic integrity.” No doubt.” (Todd Starnes)
“The “peers” clearly share the blatant partisanship and mindless anti-Trumpism of the textbook’s author. If they didn’t hate Trump, they wouldn’t be peers. They would be academic outcasts.” (Power Line)They could have added, just as Hillary Clinton’s deplorables are.
“The book’s hateful insinuations and assertions about Trump and those who voted for him are unacceptable in a text used to teach high school students American History. Any school in which the book is used should be the target of vigorous protests. The political blowback should be fierce.” (Power Line)Already out there are scores of ignorant adults who retort when asked why they rate President Trump as a “racist”, “Because I saw it on TV.” They will now be joined by scores of brainwashed teenagers who will answer the same question, “Because I learned it at school”. Just think this is happening all because Hillary Clinton’s ego, could not accept that in spite of polls, media and Hollywood predictions of victory and even with former President Barack Obama stating she would make the best president, she lost to the president the electorate sent in her place to represent them in the White House. Her shrieks of “No!” and “Never!” continue to the present day. Hillary’s, a hatred that now poisons the minds of upcoming generations, is of a kind that sought—and found—societal permanence.
