Columbus Day in the United States was overshadowed by one of the greatest diplomatic achievements of all time, a President Trump brokered peace agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh that followed the final release of all the living hostages from the hands of Hamas.

As usual, armchair generals continue to opine on how the Gaza War and its resolution came to pass.

Unwilling to let go of hearsay about Israel’s apparent delayed response on October 7, speculation is still widespread about the information, or lack thereof, that was received by the Israeli cabinet during the holiday of Simchat Torah.

It was supposed that our intelligence community was expected to gather and relay information to Israel on Hamas and other terror units’ planning. It was, and still is, questioned why Israel’s reaction wasn’t equal to their past responses of full-scale armed intervention after enemy attacks, the rest of the encircling Arab nations joining the aggression without delay. Even as the horrors of Hamas’ massacre were occurring, media were denying the accuracy of the reports, giving cover to the terrorists, and essentially boxing in Israel from countering the attack as it had done in previous instances. Since the turn of this century, increasing anti-Israel propaganda and jargon disseminated by the UN, the World Court (IJC), media, and other international organizations has placed undue pressure on Israel, restricting its ability to react without suffering vilification.

Playing into the hands of Palestinian and islamist apologists, they’re willing to defame Israel, citing what they’ve been told by unnamed sources. Their opinions, as far as can be discerned, are based on hearsay as no confirmable quotes have been offered in evidence. For the record, leaked documents can be manipulated. Anyone remember the Steele Dossier?

One attempt after another to bring hostages home was obstructed by Hamas, using their lives as their only bargaining chip. Still, Israel continued to play the parley game, working to keep bystanders in Gaza as safe as humanly possible while razing ordnance depots and collapsing hundreds of miles of tunnels used to cloak war preparation. Despite this, divisive voices promoted scorn for Israel, Jews, and Netanyahu in particular, weakening the possibility of establishing a lasting peace in the Middle East, especially because Trump was orchestrating it.

Israel is a country of unique history and circumstances antisemites refuse to recognize. American influencers and media make no bones about their contempt for Netanyahu, who would do and has done what he has believed necessary to protect his homeland. The MAGA movement is no different in supporting President Trump to do what is necessary to protect our home, our nation.

Berating that kind of loyalty to one’s own beleaguered nation showers doubt upon what commentators and influencers would approve be done to save our own nation. Giving lip service to what must be done, which is shut down and remove sharia activism from within our borders, they appear willing to see islamism take over communities, the first step of invaders to suppress all other religious and political viewpoints.
The warning from not-so-distant history is that “they” come first for the Jews, then the Christians, then the whole of western civilization.

Most supporters of Israel are not Israel first, but are acknowledging history first in standing first for America, not the rumor mill that comprises legacy and antisemitic media.

Denigrating warriors, who protect the West from their base along the eastern Mediterranean, must cease. In dividing America by messaging that Israel is driving American foreign policy, commentators are allowing Islam to infiltrate our nation and lie its way toward instituting their oppressive ideology that masquerades as religion.

By openly disparaging Netanyahu, detractors are undermining the hard-won peace that President Trump labored to bring about. Should Muslim nations that say they want Hamas dismantled be trusted? With trepidation, for they have more in common with islamists than the West. Distasteful as this is to point out, by their own faith (political ideology) they have dispensation to deceive their “partners” if they deem it necessary.

As the signing was taking place, voices were heard blaming Israel supporters for the “two-state solution” that has become part of this peace deal, but that’s not true. It’s always been the Palestinian apologists that have called for a new two-state proposal that damages the sovereignty of Israel rather than sustains it. It’s “new” because such a plan was already implemented in 1948 that established Jordan and Israel from the British Mandate. (It should be noted that a true self-governing Palestinian state isn’t a real prospect, because it has been proven they refuse to coexist with Jews. This deal creates a subject state that must be supervised by a multinational board.)

Trump was magnanimous to all involved in his addresses to the Knesset and at the signing in Egypt, despite the grave evil that was perpetrated against innocents by Hamas two years ago. Yet, pundits are more interested in driving their own agenda to glorify their own opinions, no matter how it may cripple the peace process.

Netanyahu is doing what he believes he must to secure the safety of his nation, some of which critics believe damnable. The speaker of the Knesset verified this when he said “Steve Witcoff said the really hard decisions were made by Netanyahu.”

What President Trump has done, is force a malign faction—Hamas--to accept a nominal peace despite their determination to eradicate Jews and Israel from the earth. Israel is a willing party to the effort but not to the point of lowering their guard, as none of us should do at home.

Israel’s experience should be an admonition to us. Islamists and sharia devotees must be turned out of the United States for their refusal to accept and live by the Law of this Land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Abhorrence of a free society is what created the Gaza War in the first place.
