“Barack is well aware of the complexity and the organizational challenge involved in the transition process and he has tasked a small group to begin thinking through the process…Barack has made his expectations clear about what he wants from such a process, how he wants it to move forward, and the establishment and execution of his timeline is proceeding apace.”The presidential campaign of the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, Senator John McCain, is apparently not following suit. Ambinder also reports that Clinton crony John Podesta, president of the liberal Center for American Progress, “will probably be asked to head the transition team, which would take over from the campaign if Obama wins in November, and would be tasked with ensuring a smooth handover of power.” Ambinder’s report came the same day as the Social Justice Messiah apologized for America’s sins to the nation that gave birth to Nazism. Rejecting the idea of American exceptionalism, Obama told Germans:
I know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we’ve struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We’ve made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions.Meanwhile, The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media’s Favorite Candidate, by the talented David Freddoso of National Review Online, is scheduled to go on sale August 4. It’s being published by Regnery Publishing. Here’s the description of the book from Amazon.com:
He’s the media’s darling, the fresh face of the Democratic ticket. But what does Barack Obama really stand for–and will his extreme liberal agenda and complete inexperience in global affairs endanger the country? That’s what David Freddoso, investigative reporter and National Review Online columnist, examines in The Case Against Barack Obama. In this shocking exposé, Freddoso explores the reality behind the rhetoric, the plans behind the promises, and the faults behind the façade, revealing: * Why Obama’s inexperience and extreme left-wing voting record is more dangerous than any threat we face today * Why the Rev. Wright debacle reveals Obama’s poor judgment of character and deceitful nature * Why it won’t be politics of change with President Obama–it will be liberal politics as usual Freddoso exposes the real Barack Obama: a typical big-government politician, the #1 most liberal U.S. senator, and–if he were commander in chief–a serious threat to our national security. Our profile of Barack Obama, the Marxist community organizer, appeared in the June edition of Foundation Watch.
