Holding The Obama Card Hostage

Democrats may be stuck with the race card they recklessly used to get Barack Obama elected president. While obviously unqualified to be President of the United States, the race card was held over anyone opposed to his candidacy.

Now, Democrats have no one to hold it over but themselves.

Make no mistake, however: If the left costs Obama his presidency in 2012, the Democratic Party as a whole will lose out. Sabotage the nation’s first black president and the Democratic Party might as well bid farewell to its most loyal base of supporters: African Americans.

While again accomplishing nothing for the “most loyal base of supporters”, the left is stuck with a damaged politician with nothing to offer the nation but more partisanship and policies that made the economy and foreign policy weaker. Their shameless use of the race card is something they’ll have to live with whether Obama ultimately wins or not.
