Hollywood Gay, Gay, Gay Replaced Ukraine at Last Night’s Academy AwardsIf only the Academy Awards were the only atrocity put on public display each year. Viewers, tuning in for self torment, could laugh their antics off and wouldn’t have to see them again for another year. The biggest problem is that Hollywood clowns are now using their celebrity status to run our countries as presidents and prime ministers in a world that we can no longer pretend is not leading the whole of humanity toward a devastating train wreck. Before being installed as Ukraine Prime Minister, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was a comedian, a popular television star with his own show and production company, sometimes dancing in high heels.
Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, who has turned a sovereign Canada over to Klaus Schwab’s ‘Great Reset’ control, was a drama teacher before being elected PM. Media darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) was handpicked to run for public office as a representative for New York, from an open casting call. And these are only three of the current crop of ‘entertainers’ who managed to make their way into public office. “Even while many are saying the Oscars are on "life support," the 94th Annual Academy Awards was not short of controversy and the internet was set ablaze a few times during the ceremony. (Fox News, March 28, 2022) And here many of us thought that a flame of compassion would be set afire for the people of Ukraine.
“When the award show finally kicked off, some memorable moments had viewers reconsidering the Oscars as Hollywood's biggest night. In addition to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock, which stunned viewers and saw the Academy issue a statement saying it does not condone violence, here's what happened at the Dolby Sunday night: (Fox) "Regina Hall began the 94th Annual Academy Awards with a COVID-related skit, meant to make the audience laugh. She began her segment joking that she "got to do a Covid pat down."

"Hall frisked presenters Josh Brolin and Jason Momoa per the Academy's “protocol.” “Hall's performance received mixed reviews online, with some users slamming her joke. One user tweeted on Sunday, "If a male Oscar host felt up a couple of women the way Regina Hall did James Brolin and Jason Momoa, would that be okay? I mean, I get that it was, uh... "just a joke," but…". “Another user took to Twitter and said, "Still in shock with how many people are praising Regina Hall and calling her funny. If it were a man doing this they would’ve cancelled him already.”
Don’t folk know that Hollywood entertainers spend much of their time between Oscar nights cancelling anyone who doesn’t fit their description of “woke”? Zelenskyy was wise enough not to show, even though Sean Penn promised to “melt down” all of his Oscars if he wasn’t there.

”The 94th Academy Awards were supposed to pay ‘tribute’ to the people of Ukraine—yet never mentioned the country until near to the end of the 3-hour show (Daily Mail). “Comedians Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes are hosting, the first time three women have hosted. “Schumer eventually said there was a 'genocide in Ukraine' as part of a list of world issues in a throwaway line at the end of the show.” “Earlier in the night, the hosts had gone after domestic political issues. 'We're going to have a great night, and for you folks in Florida, we're going to have a gay night!' said Sykes. “The Oscars has been criticized for its awkward handling of the war in Ukraine after hosts and nominees appeared to shun the topic until the end of the three-hour awards show - despite the hosts' eagerness to go after domestic political issues. “Then during a moment of silence, title cards called for the audience to support the 'people of Ukraine currently facing invasion, conflict and prejudice within their own borders' before a quick cut to commercial -- but the word 'Ukraine' was not spoken aloud once during the brief segment.

“Aides for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had lobbied the academy for a last-minute video appearance at the ceremony, but the producers opted to go for the moment of silence instead, according to the New York Times. “The hands-off approach to addressing the war in Ukraine drew an immediate flood of criticism, with one person tweeting: 'they seem to not only be incapable of even saying "Ukraine" but just throw up a wall of text their affiliates can cut off if they don't want to show it. These people are grossly out of touch in so many ways.’ “Actor Mila Kunis, who was born in Ukraine, is among the night's presenters. Jason Momoa wore a handkerchief in the colors of the Ukrainian flag: blue and yellow. “Kunis has otherwise been vocal about the war in Ukraine, raising $35 million for the nation's people together with her husband Ashton Kutcher, leaving many of her fans stunned at her soft-touch tribute. “Schumer also referenced race and policing issued, joking: 'I represent unbearable white women who call the cops when you get a little too loud.' “Netflix Inc released 'Power of the Dog' while 'CODA' streamed on Apple TV+. "Producers said they planned an upbeat show but will acknowledge the crisis in Ukraine, which has killed thousands and driven a quarter of Ukraine's 44 million people from their homes. 'It's really, really strange to be here in tuxedos, knowing what's going on in Ukraine,' said 'Power of the Dog' producer Emile Sherman. 'It's not an easy time trying to absorb what's happening in that part of the world, while still celebrating the achievements of everyone who made this movie and all the movies here tonight.'

“Actor Jamie Lee Curtis toted a tiny satin ribbon on her finger, flashing it like a priceless bauble at the cameras. The ribbon read, “With refugees.” (Yahoo, March 27, 2022
“The Ukrainian crisis is showing us what we've already known,” Curtis said on the red carpet, when asked about the meaning behind her ribbon. “That there's a humanitarian crisis, there's a refugee crisis happening right now, and all those displaced people need their stories told. So if I stand there tonight like this, I am representing for them, they know that they're not alone, that people are thinking about them, and thinking of ways where we can help them.”
Curtis never explained how wearing a blue ribbon would help the people of Ukraine. “Wanda Sykes opened the 94th Academy Awards show Sunday announcing that they were going to have a great night, then sending a message to the people of Florida that they were going to “have a gay night.” (Daily Wire, March 27, 2022
"During the opening monologue at the Oscars, the 58-year-old co-host of the show stood next to the other two hosts, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall, and cracked a few jokes about the night’s nominees before remarking on Florida’s bill HB 1557, the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill. “We’re gonna going have a great night tonight, and for you people in Florida, we’re gonna have a gay night,” Sykes shared. "Her co-hosts then started dancing around and saying “gay, gay, gay, gay” over and over again.
“The first award given for the night was for the Best Supporting Actress. The winner was Ariana DeBose for her part in “West Side Story.” “During her award speech, DeBose talked about being queer, and sent a message to anyone who’s ever questioned their identity. “Lastly, imagine this little girl in the back seat of a white Ford Focus,” Debose explained. “Look into her eyes. You see queer – an openly queer woman of color, an Afro‑Latina, who found her strength in life through art. And that’s what I believe we’re here to celebrate. Yeah. “So, to anybody who has ever questioned your identity, ever, ever, or you find yourself living in the gray spaces, I promise you this: There is indeed a place for us,” she added. “Encanto” star Jessica Darrow talked about being queer during her interview on the red carpet earlier in the day, reported Deadline. She was asked about Disney and the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill. “Here I am being queer and gorgeous, and I’m on the red carpet, and I’m very happy to represent fellow gorgeous queer people that consume Disney,” Darrow shared. “We are all here. We are the face of Disney at the end of the day.” “Listen, this is what I have to say about that,” the actress said specifically about the bill, “gay, gay, gay, gay, gay.” “And me? So gay,” the Disney star added. “And I love to be gay.”
Tragically, some 3.7 million Ukrainians have become refugees since Russia attacked the country one month ago—but that didn’t stop Hollywood from celebrating “gay, gay, gay, gay, gay.” Meanwhile, until Western society can find the way to keep entertainers from pubic office, the world will remain hopelessly upside down.
