How prog-left brass ‘Cat Balloued' Senator John McCain’s Memorial

How prog-left brass ‘Cat Balloued' Senator John McCain’s Memorial It’s all over but for the private Annapolis, Maryland burial today, but did anybody bother to pray for the soul of the late Senator John McCain during the public memorial service, or was it just-poor-taste theatrics all the way through? Until the progressive-left moved in to politicize them, memorials were held to pray over the dead, asking God Almighty to show mercy on their souls.
Little wonder why many main street Americans were disgusted by the antics during the televised, week-long memorial service of the late Senator John McCain. The progressive-left establishment seized the opportunity of the senator’s memorial to bash a sitting president, some of their top brass putting their incurable TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) on full public display. Senator McCain did not want to allow President Trump at his memorial, but at least two of their top-ranked members brought him in anyway. In the end the service said a lot more about them than it did about either the senator or the president. First to the podium after McCain’s daughter, Meghan said her piece, came former President Barack Obama with his usual scattergun approach, shooting insults at the absent Trump without ever really mentioning his name.
“So much of our politics, our public life, our public discourse can seem small and mean and petty. Trafficking in bombastic manufactured outrage, it's politics that pretends to be brave and tough, but in fact is born of fear. John called on us to be bigger than that. He called on us to be better than that,” Obama said.
We expected Obama to come out of his Resistance hide-y-hole for the opportunity to be heard in what had to be his only unpaid post-president speech.

But the real academy award winner was pathetic former president George W. Bush who brought a thousand teddybears and copious nosegays to the last farewell to Senator McCain. Make that the same George W., who said nary a word for eight long years when his successor was raping and pillaging the country, who was there to bury Donald Trump, not Senator McCain.
“If we're ever tempted to forget who we are, grow weary of our cause, John's voice will come as a whisper over our shoulder. We are better than this. America is better than this, Bush eulogized.
With Obama’s Fundamental Transformation of America still being attempted from Resistance Headquarters just up the street from the White House, Bush just had to give a piece of candy to the Resistance Leader’s wife for good measure.

In its own way, McCain’s memorial rivalled that of the late Senator Paul Wellstone’s back in 2002, where Democrat mourners unbelievably broke into the chant of “We will win!” “We will win!” at the memorial, in tribute to not to Wellstone and his wife, Sheila Wellstone, his daughter, Marcia Wellstone, aides Will McLaughlin and Tom Lapic, family friend Mary McEvoy and the two pilots, Richard Conry and Michael Guess --but to the upcoming election just days away (Minn Post, Oct. 24, 2008)

Time would prove their tasteless chant fruitless, as the Republicans won the election. Butt-aching prog-lefties cannot bear to leave even memorials as sombre and prayerful, but showed last week that the dead not only vote, but shout. They use memorial services to shout at their sworn enemies from the mouths of the mourners. Meanwhile, George W. Bush deserves an academy award for helping to Cat Ballou Senator McCain’s theatrical memorial.

In the movie, Lee Marvin playing swaggering drunk Kid Shelleen loudly bursts into a coffin-dominated room, bragging that he’s “loaded for bear”. He is pointedly asked by the grieving Ballou family, “Do you know what’s going on here?”
“The scene in which they are about to bury Cat’s father is a particular highlight; unaware of what is going on, he proceeds to sing “Happy Birthday” and blows out the candles at the end of the coffin!”

A watching world could clearly see “what was going on here” at yesterday’s McCain memorial. Although you’ll never read about it in the MSM or social media John McCain’s body was flown to Washington, D.C. on an aircraft that had to be approved by POTUS. (TMZ, Aug. 30, 2018)
“The late Arizona senator's casket was loaded onto one of the jets known as Air Force 2 -- which is often designated for the VP or First Lady's travel. As you know, 45 will not be attending McCain's service in D.C. ... reportedly because McCain wanted it that way. “Still, Trump announced earlier this week he had greenlit military transport for McCain, saying, "At the request of the McCain family, I have also authorized military transportation of Senator McCain’s remains from Arizona to Washington, D.C., military pallbearers and band support, and a horse and caisson transport during the service at the United States Naval Academy."
Bush, Obama and other mourners should have been praying for the soul of the dearly departed instead of blowing out his candles. Love him or loathe him, Senator John McCain should have had prayers said for his soul at yesterday’s last farewell. Meanwhile, Christians should pray that the Democrat dead do not get up and vote again. Sincerity in grieving the more recent aggrieved comes in meaningful prayer not from political theatrics.
