If Society is to survive, Tea Party Movement Must Go International

imageThere is no doubt that with its larger population and superpower status that the United States of America gets much more attention than its northern neighbour and number one trading partner. While each country is different, one being a Republic and the other a Democracy, Canada is very much like America when it comes to politics.

No need to bore readers with the anti-Americanism that rides an unflagging horse by a variety of elected officials, including former Prime Minister Jean Chretien who, in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, linked the attacks to perceived Western greed and arrogance and said the United States should not use its position as the world’s only superpower to humiliate people in poorer nations. Liberal MP Carolyn Parrish (now Mississauga councillor) of “damn Americans, I hate the bastards” fame, made a career out of President George W. Bush bashing, proudly having her picture jumping on a George Bush doll in the media. If politically correct is alive on American soil, it positively thrives in soured-by-Socialists Canada. Picking up from Hollywood style, the far left in Canada have rushed in to dub all Conservative candidates of late as George W. Bush. There’s been “Scary” Stephen Harper, Canadian Prime Minister hanging on by a thread with a minority Conservative Government in Ottawa. Premier Mike Harris, the conservative who replaced Ontario’s first and only Socialist Bob Rae led government was portrayed as Dubya and now it’s Rob Ford’s turn. For the first time in decades conservative Rob Ford is leading the polls in October 24 municipal elections and the Toronto Star is not only branding Ford as a buffoon and a slob, but his supporters as Tea Party copycats. The City of Toronto (more’s the pity) does not even have a Tea Party. And God only knows if Toronto ever does go Tea Party, its founders should be on guard against it being quickly co-opted by the Left. In the United States, the mainstream media was in the tank for Senator Barack Obama from the get-go. When a flagging John McCain brought Sarah Palin on the presidential ticket as vice president, the MSM went berserk, engineering the smear campaign of record. Prominent Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) journalist Heather Mallick of “pram face” fame, jumped into the fray, dragging then 17-year-old Bristol Palin into the muck. When Canada’s largest newspaper realized that Ford was handily leading the polls weeks before election, it arrogantly asked three candidates to get out of the race so that Ford’s closest opponent, Liberal George Smitherman would have a chance. Just like in America, during the 2008 presidential campaign, ACORN is out leading voter registration drives for voters who live in low income housing. Yes, Canada is one of eight countries operating under the newly minted Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). The Lib/Left are the same wherever they get into public office. They seize the moral high-ground and pontificate at the rest of us. The problems civil society faces in North America are the same problems being faced worldwide. Governments of the world now see their constituencies as serfs. Governments are stripping the people of individual rights while the serfs pay for freedom-killing government policies. The reason why American Tea Parties have found success is because we the people sincerely cherish the Constitution and their Founding Fathers. It may be late for Canada , which signed away its ability for property rights in the Charter of Rights entrenched in the repatriated Constitution of Canada, under Lib/Left Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau. But In order for civil society to survive, the Tea Party must go international. People of the world must pull together and share ideas about how to fight the enemy: Greedy governments using Socialism and UN-inspired One World Government to control the masses. The serfs of the world must unite and find an effective way to fight back. If they don’t, the day will come when their grandchildren will be born into a world of bondage.
