"I'm scared. I'm scared by him, by his possibility," Streep said during a sit-down with Stephen Colbert at the annual Montclair Film fundraiser in New Jersey."Guess she thought she’d be the first order of business before Trump could get down to running the country.
"And I do empathize with him. I can’t imagine what his 3 a.m. is like," she continued, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "There’s a gathering storm — everyone feels it, he feels it. His children are in jeopardy, and I feel that. I think, 'What if my children were in jeopardy?' I would do anything — anything — to get them out of trouble. So we should be afraid. That’s what I think.” (The Hill)Why would Streep, Hollywood-crowned Best Actress of All Time, and one who lives in multiple million dollar mansions, be afraid of a president?
“The multiple award-winning actress has been an outspoken critic of Trump since before he won the White House.” (The Hill)She’s not the only star turning the air blue with top-of-the-‘news’ anti-Trump rhetoric. “Notables who've come out against Trump include: Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Jack Black, Stephen King, Cher, George Clooney, Jennifer Lawrence, Johnny Depp, Richard Gere, Bette Midler, Miley Cyrus, Louis C.K.. Ben Stiller, J.K. Rowling and Chelsea Handler. (Mike Huckabee, NewsMax, Dec. 30, 2016)
"In an interview with Entertainment Weekly earlier this year, Lawrence, the highly-paid star of "Passengers" and The Hunger Games" movies, said if Trump was elected, "that will be the end of the world."The sky is not just falling in the manmade global warming/climate change hype, but in the Entertainment Industry too. Theirs is an everyday sky-is-falling kind of world, and when the Big Stars aren’t out there fomenting for disaster, they leave maroons like Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell to bring up the rear. Dumping warnings like confetti over the heads of the masses, Hollywood and the music industry seem unaware of dire warnings based more on the reality of the times:

“Mike Huckabee has issued a dire warning to Hollywood and the music industry: Stop lashing out at President-elect Donald Trump or face big financial consequences courtesy of fed-up Americans. "If snarky late night comics and pompous music stars keep alienating their audiences with angry, leftist political diatribes, they might eventually find themselves performing on street corners for spare change, next to some smelly guy who's been out there holding a sign reading 'The World Is Coming To An End' since 1981," the former Arkansas governor said on his Facebook page late Thursday.” "From listening to the media, you'd think every American is furious that Hillary Clinton didn't get elected, despite the fact that at last count, she's lost to Trump three times (on Election Day, in the misbegotten recounts and in the attempt to intimidate the Electoral College)." “Huckabee, who ran for the GOP presidential nomination earlier this year before dropping out and backing Trump, said the billionaire real-estate developer's approval rating in the latest Rasmussen and Reuters/IPSOS polls has topped 50 percent. "Consumer confidence has skyrocketed to its highest level since 2001. Manufacturing jobs are returning, stock markets are setting all-time records, and he hasn't even been inaugurated yet," Huckabee said.
"If Hollywood and the music industry are determined to keep up their 24/7 whining and insulting of both the President and that vast, red expanse of America that voted for him, they may find their audiences whittled down so much that they become completely irrelevant." “He added that those who don't believe Republicans are "sick of supporting entertainers who insult them" should look at the box-office tally of the recent R-rated political thriller starring Jessica Chastain and John Lithgow. "The new movie 'Miss Sloane,' about a brave liberal lobbyist battling the evil NRA, got raves from critics and a Golden Globe nomination. It opened on 1,648 screens, and in its opening weekend, made less than $1.85 million," Huckabee said. "That averages to $1,133 per theater, or fewer than nine people per showing; bad enough to earn the #75 spot on the list of all-time worst opening weekends per theater. If the producers didn't hate guns so much, they'd probably be moaning, "Just shoot me!”No one knows the deceitful Hollywood world better than First Lady Melania Trump: “When asked what the hardest thing is that she’s had to deal with, she said, “Opportunists who are using my name or my family name to advance themselves, from comedians to journalists to performers, book writers.” She then added that, “It doesn’t hurt, the problem is that they’re writing the history and it’s not correct.” (Lifezette, Dec. 13, 2018) It should go without saying that all opportunists making it rich just by hating Donald Trump, will be put out of business if the Democrats succeed at Impeaching him as promised.
