Houston, Miami, Boise, Chicago, Hartford, and beyond, we have a problem. A big fat problem.

The Internal Revenue Service, an agency of the Department of Treasury and the collector of the taxes that support the programs of the government, has gone amok. In the last 5 years it has morphed into an arm of the Obama organization to fundamentally change the United States. First, in an effort to slow the rise of the Conservative, grassroots influence, the IRS simply refused to process or rejected applications for tax exempt status for these groups, then lied about it, then tried to cover it up, and the latest, they offered up the token sacrificial lamb, Lois Lerner, to attempt to quiet the uproar. It is conceivable that the shenanigans cost several candidates their contests. The IRS is the agency that will be enforcing the Affordable (not) Care (not) Act (yup). Well, because it hasn't been implemented yet so it isn't receiving the revenues to support the thousands of new agencies, employees, navigators and on and on, the IRS needed a little cash. So, the administration moved one million dollars from the Department of Homeland Security to a slush fund for the IRS to get started. Guess what, 67 million of that money seems to be missing, unaccounted for, gone. This has to stop. Someone needs to take control. I'm not comfortable with the sloppy procedures and abuse of power within the IRS and I sure don't like expanding their power. The people deserve to have confidence in their government and we do not.
