Fox News, Donald TrumpLook where drifting ever leftward is taking Fox News: CABLE NEWS RACE -- WEDS, OCT 9, 2019 MSNBC MADDOW--3,285,000 FOXNEWS HANNITY--3,265,000 FOXNEWS TUCKER--3,244,000 FOXNEWS INGRAHAM--2,790,000 FOXNEWS THE FIVE--2,702,000 MSNBC O'DONNELL--2,425,000 FOXNEWS BAIER--2,361,000 MSNBC HAYES--2,059,000 MSNBC HARDBALL-- 1,548,000 FOXNEWS SHEP SMITH--1,392,000 CNN CUOMO--1,266,000 CNN COOPER--1,206,000
Worrisome horrors: That really is MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow significantly ahead of Fox News’, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, The Five and Brett Baier. Fox News’ Shep Smith, already at the bottom, is just slightly ahead of CNN’s Chris Cuomo and Anderson Cooper. How about that for a Fox News Poll! It was only on Thursday that Fox came out with another poll, this one indicating that 51 percent of Americans want President Donald Trump impeached. “Just over half of voters want President Trump impeached and removed from office, according to a Fox News Poll released Wednesday. (Fox News, Oct. 10, 2019)
“A new high of 51 percent wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4 percent want him impeached but not removed, and 40 percent oppose impeachment altogether. In July, 42 percent favored impeachment and removal, while 5 percent said impeach but don’t remove him, and 45 percent opposed impeachment.”

Is Fox tying to deliberately dispirit their viewers, or does Fox really hope the president will be impeached? Is Fox jumping to conclusions with their latest poll? The last few presidential elections indicate that the U.S. is split roughly 50-50 politically. So if, as alleged, Fox News over sampled Democrats ahead of Republicans and Independents, of course their poll would arrive somewhere at the 50 percent mark. Showing their own poll results as front page news with the 2020 election campaign already underway, is hardly ‘fair and balanced’. With their recent spat of negative polls, Fox News is no better than the fake media and all their polls that had Hillary Clinton winning—right up until 9:30 on Election Night, 2016. Is moving to the Left a prudent move for Fox News? No, because MSNBC and CNN et al are already there, and being kept there by the algorithms of social media. Now that they’ve crossed over to the mainstream and social media, Fox won’t likely sprout new growth because CNN, MSNBC et al, already control that market.

None of the Lib-Left talking heads, including two-time DNC chairman Donna Brazile, are doing much to boost Fox viewership, but the network seems not to care. Fox drifting leftward does not come from sound, business-like marketing principles. Instead it puts Fox in the same race as the Fake News left-leaning media— competing for the same dollars. Instead their long range plan appears to be to take an already dwindling viewership and turn it against the duly elected President of the United States. Anyone knows that the network’s trek leftward began when Rupert Murdoch’s son, Lachlan took over the Fox helm. Incredibly, cut-throat, anti-Trump RINO Paul Ryan, now on the network’s board of directors, has joined forces with the younger Murdoch. Is Fox brass even aware that without Hannity, Carlson, Ingraham, Lou Dobbs, Judge Jeanine Pirro among others, there would be no reason to tune in to their network? President Trump gave a shout out to all of the above during last night’s rally, but has already indicated that One American News (OAN) is the best network to watch the news. Meanwhile, that Rachel Maddow is watched by far more viewers on cable news, and is more popular than Hannity, Carlson, Ingraham, Dobbs and Pirro is a sign that Fox News is singing its own Swan Song. As we have predicted before, by the time Election 2020 rolls around, Fox News will be leading the charge against President Donald Trump.
