Go home, Jeb. It's over.

Obviously, everyone remembers the hullabaloo surrounding "the pledge" that the GOP made Donald Trump sign. Trump was forced to promise that he would support the eventual Republican nominee and in return he got... Well, not much really. The GOP elites are still targeting him, they're still trying to come up with a candidate they feel can be properly controlled, and they're still doing everything they can to make sure everyone knows they don't want the guy to be the nominee.
By contrast, Jeb is their dream candidate. He hasn't had to sign any sort of pledge at all. "I've learned not to answer questions... you answer what you want to say” @JebBush on #Trump vs #Clinton https://t.co/oL4oI0xmks
— Anderson Cooper 360° (@AC360) December 18, 2015 Jeb "not getting it" is nothing new, but...wow. First of all, let's look at that response.“I’ve learned not to answer questions. That’s one of the things you do now in political discourse. You answer what you want to say.”That has to be one of the chunkiest non-answers I've ever heard. Usually, a candidate will deflect, change the subject, or rephrase the question in a way that allows for some wiggle room. Jeb does none of that. His refusal is just the political version of taking the 5th. More importantly, this is a man who gave Hillary an award for her completely nonexistent support of the U.S. Constitution. It's awfully hard for him to sit there and say "she’s not trustworthy and her proposals aren’t much better.” when - just last year - he was lauding her service. This is a little like how nominating Mitt Romney destroyed the GOP's fight against ObamaCare. If your candidate can't credibly attack his opponent, he shouldn't be your candidate. Finally, Ted Cruz has been giving the correct answer to this question for weeks. "Any Republican candidate would make a better President than Hillary Clinton." That's it. That's all Jeb has to say. The fact that he can't bring himself to utter that phrase is extremely telling. No wonder he's sitting at 2% in the polls.
