Joe Kent spent today telling the world that Iran posed no imminent threat and that Israel manipulated Trump into war

The media ran with the hand grenade. They didn't bother to check whether it had a pin

Joe Kent Wasn't In The Room. He Wasn't Even Invited.

There's one devastating problem: an intelligence official confirmed to The Daily Wire that Kent was not part of the planning of the Iran war or the briefings on the war.

He wasn't read in. He didn't see the intelligence. He was operating blind — and he wrote a resignation letter as if he had the full picture.

Speaker Mike Johnson made it plain. I got all the briefings, We all understood there was clearly an imminent treat that Iran was very close to the enrichment of nuclear capability. I don't know where Joe Kent is getting his information, but he wasn't in those briefings, clearly.

It gets worse. A senior administration official told Fox News that Kent was a known leaker who had been cut out of the president's intelligence briefings months ago. He wasn't a whistleblower with inside knowledge. He was already on the outside looking in — and the administration knew it.

This explains everything. Kent didn't resign because he saw something alarming in the classified record. He resigned because he never saw the classified record. He dressed up his ideological opposition to the war in the language of intelligence expertise he didn't actually have.

And CNN, MSNBC, and the rest treated it as a bombshell from a senior insider.
