The screw-up in Afghanistan is so incredibly and monumentally incompetent that it took a level of thought and planning that can only be considered nefarious

Joey, the broken marionette

Joey, the broken marionette"A marionette is a puppet controlled from above using wires or strings depending on regional variations. A marionette's puppeteer is called a marionettist. Marionettes are operated with the puppeteer hidden or revealed to an audience by using a vertical or horizontal control bar in different forms of theatres or entertainment venues."  It's time to wonder whether there is a nefarious motive behind the American/Biden/Afghan Debacle. This cascade of blunders, miscalculations and misestimations has achieved epic levels in American history.

U.S. Federal Government seems to have been infected with a serious case of the Stupid Virus

The U.S. Federal Government seems to have been infected with a serious case of the Stupid Virus.  The older among us have never seen anything so FUBAR.   In fact, is so FUBAR that it makes one wonder if it's intentional. Let's suppose it is – intentional. Here's how that would roll out, step-by-step:
  1. The marionettists, seldom seen by the audience, decided that Trump would not have a second term.  Many Republican pols were okay with that; including those who never wanted Donald as President in the first place.
  2. The Democrat Left could do whatever needed doing to remove Trump, even if it meant fabricating ballots and manipulating voting machines.  The only other way to beat him was to administer bodily harm.
  3.
  4. The marionettists chose the first option.  They would cheat in several select states, just enough to win.
  5. They chose Joe Biden as their candidate, and encouraged Kamala Harris to drop out early in the primary so she didn't get embarrassed by a low count. They promised her the Vice Presidency, and ultimately, the POTUS job.
  6.
  7. The marionettists figured Biden could remain vertical for most of one term. Or, at least, make it to the midterms. They hid him in a basement during the campaign. They didn't figure on him emerging in worse shape than when he went in.

  1. After the 'voting,' Joey was declared the winner. The SCOTUS chose not to look into the election.  A few Republicans called 'foul,' but not many, and none very vociferously.  It was almost as though they were relived to be rid of the Orange Man.
  2. Seven months later Joey, or the marionettists, decided it's time to abandon Afghanistan.  It'd been 18 months since a U.S. military personnel had been KIA there, but Joey wanted, he said, not to pass the war on to a 5th President.  So, he pulled out air support for the Afghan Army. That was the kill shot.  We taught them to rely on help from above, and then left them below without any.
  3. The Taliban, 'Talley Ban' as President Obama called them, saw the green light and charged toward Kabul.
  4. Meanwhile, Joey's military chiefs, his "intelligence community," and state department wonks either kept feeding him bad information full of Blue-Sky nonsense, or else he took naps while they spoke the truth to him.  In interviews and speeches, Joey spoke nonsense, just as he had for fifty-plus years in politics.  Consequently, he now finds himself between the hardest of rocks and a harder place. That is, when he knows where he is, since he often appears lost.
  5. To make his matters worse, the liberal media has turned on Joey. They helped him be elected, and now they're out to fire him.  They know the game plan. They helped draw-up and execute it. Kamala comes next. She's got more operating brain cells than Joey, but not many more. She'll dance to the marionettists strings and laugh all the way into the White House—even at things not funny.
  6. Hopefully with Jill behind the wheel, Joey will ride off into the retirement sunset, for health reasons, and be touted as a man who tried hard, but was beaten by bad health and the 25th Amendment.
  7. The Republicans will run a Jeb Bush, or some other standard pol at the next general election, and it won't matter if they win or lose.  There's only one political party.
  8.
  9. The screw-up in Afghanistan is so incredibly and monumentally incompetent that it took a level of thought and planning that can only be considered nefarious.  And, if it's not duplicitously evil but only plain stupid, that may be even worse for America.
