If I was to make a purchase without having money to pay for it, it would be like shop lifting, and if I wasn't arrested, my credit rating would hit bottom.

In the same speech, the my-way-or-the-highway president said, he will cooperate with his opposition, but will not listen to any opposition against his agenda.
He wants to shut down government even though all services would be funded, except for Obamacare. His opposition is willing to include its funding if Keystone is considered in the bill. Compromise is out of the question for the my-way-or-the-highway president.
