Yasser A. Payne is interested in exploring notions of resiliency with street life oriented Black men using an unconventional methodological framework entitled: Participatory Action Research.
Obviously the upper middle class lifestyle Professor Payne enjoys (tenured even?) is a result of ‘acting white’, yet while he has his, he’ll talk down the system to students condemning them to all the wonderful things the urban black value system has to offer.
