Lindsay Clancy Holdout Juror Says He Never Had “Reasonable Doubt”

The holdout juror who refused to allow Lindsay Clancy to escape accountability for killing her three children says he never had any “reasonable doubt” as other jurors alleged.

Michael P. Desronvil, 48, of Bridgewater, spoke with Ray Marcel of Fugitive TV after Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial Sept. 4.

Clancy faces three counts of murder in the strangling deaths of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, at their Duxbury home on Jan. 24, 2023. She then slashed her wrists and jumped from a second-story window, leaving her paralyzed.

Prosecutors say she killed the children deliberately. The defense argued postpartum depression triggered auditory hallucinations.

Maura Healey Defends Taking Christian Couple’s Daughter for Not Affirming Trans Identity

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey on Tuesday defended the state’s removal of a Catholic couple’s daughter from their home, defending the Department of Children for takng the daughter away because the couple would not affirm a bogus transgender identity.

Joseph and Arlene Kutzko have spent nearly two years fighting to regain custody of their daughter, Sophie, who was 15 when DCF took her in 2024.

The parents say her school began counseling her about gender identity without their knowledge and that their refusal to call her a boy or use male pronouns contributed to her removal.

Healey told reporters the agency did not take the girl over gender issues.

“Let me be clear about the facts in that matter. First of all, DCF did not remove the child because of a health issue or a gender-affirming care issue. DCF removed the child after there were criminal charges filed against the parents, including the father,” Healey said. “As you know, DCF is responsible for the care and well-being of kids, and that’s what happened in this instance.” ---More...

Woman Gets Life in Prison, Threw Her Baby in Dumpster Because Babies “Cost Too Much Money” 

An Alabama woman will spend the rest of her life in prison after pleading guilty to capital murder for placing her newborn son in a dumpster.

She threw him into the trash compactor because, as she told investigators, having a baby “cost too much money.”

Houston County Circuit Judge Henry D. Binford on Monday sentenced Jakayla Ashanti Williams, 21, to life without the possibility of parole. Williams accepted a last-minute plea deal moments before jury selection, avoiding the death penalty prosecutors had sought.

Williams was 18 in August 2023 when she secretly gave birth to a baby boy at her home in Dothan. She told her family she had surrendered the child to a “redheaded” employee at Southeast Health Medical Center. 

Days later she went to the hospital with a family member, saying she wanted the baby back.

Hospital staff called police. Surveillance footage showed no sign that Williams had been at the hospital after the birth and no employee matching her description. When police questioned her again, she admitted she had left the infant in a dumpster at an apartment complex near her home. The dumpster was equipped with a trash compactor. ---More...

Netherlands Review Board Says Euthanasia of 2-Year-Old Was Perfectly Fine

A medical review committee in the Netherlands has concluded that the doctor who oversaw the country’s first euthanasia of a child “had acted with due care [zorgvuldig].” According to the committee, euthanasia for children under 12 is only permissible if “termination of life is the only reasonable way to end the child’s unbearable suffering without prospect of improvement.” Such a utilitarian law utterly fails to treat every person as an image-bearer of God.

The child’s condition was extremely difficult, and the child may have died soon in any event. Born abroad prematurely at a gestational age of 26 weeks, three days, the child suffered from extensive disabilities. Brain damage in two areas caused spastic cerebral palsy and “visual impairment” (the degree of blindness, whether full or partial, was not specified).

As the child grew, he or she (the report is coldly mute on the child’s sex, name, or anything suggestive of personhood) also developed West syndrome, a severe and nearly untreatable form of epilepsy. The child also suffered from coughing fits, a swallowing disorder, and difficulty coughing up mucus. These conditions were expected to lead to an increased risk of respiratory infections, including aspiration pneumonia. ---More...
