Not to throw some partisan cold water on a lifestyle piece, but I wonder if Obama and the national attention now given to all things political and Chicago (not to mention kids getting clubbed to death in the street) has taken the luster off The Windy City?The housing market is so bad you can’t even give away homes these days. Officials in suburban Barrington put three homes up for a sale at just a dollar a piece — a dollar! — and didn’t get a single bidder. A dollar!That’s sad.
