America’s Truth Forum, threat of radical Islam and aggressive Islamofascism

Lonesome Dove ranch setting for conference on radical-Islam threat

America’s Truth Forum, in association with Basics Project will kick off the coming new year with the third in their popular national series of symposiums that look into the ongoing threat of radical Islam and aggressive Islamofascism. America’s Truth Forum and Basics Project draw the most qualified experts of the day on the topic, to their symposiums, including celebrated Jihad Watch director, Robert Spencer.

This event will take place February 1, 2008 through February 2, 2008 at a Dallas-area ranch. The only qualification necessary for attendance is wanting to “learn the truth”, according to conference organizers Jeff Epstein and Frank Salvato. “Exposing the Threat of Radical Islamist Terrorism” is part of a continuing series organized by America’s Truth Forum, registration details of which are available at America’sTruthForum. The setting for this conference lends itself well to often stressed business leaders, who want the unvarnished facts about the current state of international terrorism. Even the name of the setting, the Ranch of the Lonesome Dove in Southlake, Texas, fits the occasion. Along with average citizens who just want to be informed, this event will be distinguished by the attendance of law enforcement officials and first responders—including from Canada—who will have the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas. Leading speakers on the subject of the day, including Spencer, founder, president of Center for Security Policy: “The Infiltration of Middle Eastern Influence into Washington, D.C., Institutions Frank Gaffney and Day of Islam author Paul Williams are the big draws of the series. Contacts are made and business cards exchanged during the VIP dinner and cocktail reception at the conference opening on Friday night, Feb. 1. Jeffrey Epstein, president of America’s Truth Forum, said the conference is necessary because average Americans and Canadians are not getting the full story about the threat they face from mainstream media reportage. “We can no longer afford to hide from reality,” he said. “If you care about this country and the future of your children, and you don’t want to see them living under Islamic law, then you need to come to this event.” Other speakers at the Saturday symposium include, among others David Schippers—the former federal prosecutor and 1998 impeachment chief counsel who investigated the Oklahoma City bombing, professor and FBI adviser Harvey Kushner, former CIA counter-terrorism agent Bruce Tefft and internationally known critic Wafa Sultan. America’s Truth Forum and Basics Project had to postpone an earlier symposium this fall, scheduled for Dearborn, Mich., when a last-minute complication with the venue had to be addressed. Epstein said there was little doubt that the venue complication was the result of “pressure applied on the location’s management by special interest groups prone to supporting the advancement of Islam in the United States.” Although the leaders of the special interest groups allege they are banned from attendance at America Truth Forum symposiums, Epstein and Salvato have gone out of their way to bring them to the speaker’s dais. All leaders from the “pro-Islamist community”, including leadership of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and a prominent Muslim spokesman for the New Black Panther Party chose not to respond to the invitation to the Dearborn conference. “Not one of these Muslim leaders, who incessantly complain that there is no dialogue on the issue of Islam in America and the West, chose to take the opportunity to be on the dais in an effort to engage in an intellectual discussion,” Epstein said. It was destined that the Feb 1-2 conference would take place at the Ranch of the Lonesome Dove without them.
