I wonder when the last time Ed Schultz drove through Prince William and/or Fairfax and/or Loudon counties?

He may find that Allen West’s observations were spot on.

On his MSNBC show this evening, Ed Schultz twice called newly-elected Republican congressman Allen West “ignorant.“ For good measure, Schultz said West “didn’t have a clue.” Schultz was incensed that West had observed that Washington, DC–home of big government–was relatively immune to the economic woes that have befallen the rest of the country.

Because of the federal government and all the businesses that support it, the economic climate is almost four times better there than the national norm. (As a Northern Virginia resident; I see it every day) Congressman-Elect West’s fresh observations are correct and Ed Schultz is should know a little more about what he’s talking about before he talks. Then again, why break with routine…? Oh, and Ed… if a white conservative called a black liberal “ignorant”, just what would you be calling that white person today?
