Fellow Veteran and Friends of Veterans As many of you probably know, Monday, February 23rd, the Mayor's Veterans Affairs Council will be holding a meeting from 10 am to11:30 am, to discuss Veteran homelessness.
As most everyone knows, Mayor Garcetti has promised to end Veteran homelessness by the end of the year. What you may not know is that the Mayor will not be at Monday's meeting. No, he has a much bigger priority and that is he will be hosting a "ribbon cutting ceremony" in North Hollywood to open an alley that has been repurposed as a public plaza space with tables, chairs, and umbrellas for people to enjoy. (info follows below) You read it right ... Instead of heading his own Veteran Affairs Council on on ending Veteran homelessness, Mayor Garcetti is going to open a public plaza in the very place homeless Veterans call "home" --- back-alley squalor that is now being cleaned up and repurposed for the general public. Do you remember the "state of emergency" absolutely necessity that was required to "settle" the ACLU lawsuit in order to vacate the Federal Judgment that included nine illegal real estate deals on VA property?

Well, it just had to be done immediately after VA Secretary McDonald and ACLU attorneys -- along with non-Veteran Bobby Shriver -- held secret meetings and then announced an impromptu press conference and rushed immediately afterward to file the settlement with the Courts. The Mayor's hoax to end Veteran homelessness is just as big a hoax as this so-called settlement that liberates and protects illegal non-Veteran occupants and allows them to stay on VA property while homeless Veterans are "promised" to get shelter before the end of the year -- and Mayor Garcetti is cutting a ribbon to open an alley to the public in North Hollywood. This is the most disgusting and reprehensible kick in the face of Veterans since returning home from the Vietnam War. In today's hard copy of the Brentwood News, headlined "A Brentwood Miracle," publisher Jeff Hall incredulously declares:
But now everyone – the VA, the ACLU, leaseholders and neighbors – is being asked by Secretary McDonald to contribute to the ultimate solution. And everybody seems to be jumping on board. This is huge, really huge. I would go so far as to call this a miracle – and probably a life-saving one at that, in many cases.
There's the "settlement" in a nutshell ... the "leaseholders and neighbors" are being asked by "Big Mac" to contribute to the ultimate solution, which is who contributed to the ultimate problem in the first place.

Trojan Horse settlement

Non-Veteran Jeff Hall calls it a "life-saving miracle" for his fat-cat friends of Brentwood at the expense of dying homeless Veterans. No mention of Veterans, Veteran advocates or VSO's -- Plaintiff Vietnam Veterans of America -- to contribute to the "ultimate solution," just the illegal leaseholders and wealthy Brentwood neighbors. You've been forewarned that this is a Trojan Horse settlement and look what's now coming out of it -- the fat-cat neighbors and illegal leaseholders are going to sit at the table and unilaterally feast on Veterans land. Be forewarned: If you're not at the table, then you are on the menu and these fat-cats will get fatter and fatter as they feast on your sacred land to satisfy their own greedy appetite.

Biggest land fraud-scandal in American history

Make no mistake: The biggest land fraud-scandal in American history just got trumped by the biggest settlement-fraud scandal in American history, led by the biggest con-artist in American history -- Robert "call me Bob" McDonald. Show up Sunday for our 362nd consecutive Sunday Rally to "Save Our Veterans Land" and to "Bring Our Homeless Veterans HOME," held on the Veterans Revolution Plaza, northeast corner of Wilshire and San Vicente Boulevards .... 1:00 - 4:00 PM. God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!
