Carbon tax

McGuinty Must Go

I would like to wish every one in advance Happy Canada Day, but it sucks to live in Ontario on this day July 1, 2010, as we start start to pay higher for just about every thing we purchase. Thanks to Dalton McGuinty, the Premier. When elected on his first and second term he promised not to raise taxes, so I would like to ask Ontarians did he lie to us (have taxes gone up yes or no?).

Have we had enough of his mismanagement of government funds. E HEALTH - OLG Friendly Liberal consultants getting untendered contracts or contracts they did not deserve and high ranking officials getting huge buy outs and severances and the luxury of wine-ing and dining on Ontarians. So I would like to provide you with some info and I will give you the web sites to go with each piece of info so you can decide if he deserves a 3rd term or not as he criticized Ernie Eves for having a 5 billion dollar deficit and, yes, Dalton is running a 25 billion dollar deficit or better and don't forget he thinking of a carbon tax. What's his next tax maybe on your well. (On Friday MAY 7TH 2010.) Dalton McGuinty is so out of touch that today in Ottawa he compared the sacrifices of Canadian soldiers and the Great Depression to paying his $3 billion HST tax grab. Earlier this week in a cleansing moment of honesty he finally admitted what the PC Caucus has been saying for months when he confessed the HST will be a punishing tax on families and seniors . May 16 2010 Barton’s McKinsey & Company, one of the most expensive consulting firms in the world. Under McGuinty’s watch, McKinsey was given a $750,000 untendered contract from Deb Matthews’ Ministry of Health and Long-term Care to suggest ways in which the Liberal government could slash millions of dollars out of front-line pharmacy care. Here is a quote from Jim Wilson “While Dalton McGuinty listens to the type of high-priced consultants that got rich off the eHealth scandal, they continue to ignore Ontario families who are asking for jobs and front-line pharmacy care in communities . This is not the Dalton McGuinty people thought they elected.””– Jim Wilson, MPP. Sat., May 15, 2010, Liberal members twice applauded Rubin’s unequivocal call that the people of Ontario “need a tariff” on carbon. This rate increase, when combined with the HST and other hidden fees, will cost Ontario families an additional $350 per year. Also on May 1st, Dalton McGuinty’s $3 billion HST tax grab takes effect. For more info http://www.ontariopc.com/news-releases/a-350-electricity-bill-increase-and-early-hst-tax-grab-to-make-life-more-expensive-for-ontario-families/ Then the McGuinty meter or so called smart meter will kick in starting in July another increase in your hydro my guess by another 10% or better but wait for winter when the electric heaters kick in maybe a 50% increase or better McGuinty Liberals are refusing to protect taxpayers from being forced to pay $25 million in severance to HST tax collectors who will not be losing their jobs. Ontario PC Leader Tim Hudak today released the text of the Ontario PC Budget Motion amendment. Yesterday, Hudak released text of a PC amendment to the Budget Bill that would prevent HST tax collectors from receiving up to $45,000 each in severance despite the fact that they will not be missing a day of work. for more info go tohttp://www.ontariopc.com/news-releases/ontario-pc-caucus-budget-motion-amendment-to-condemn-25-million-hst-tax-collector-severance/ And finally I think Ontarians had enough of McGuinty Liberal Government scandals at eHealth Ontario, OLG, Cancer Care Ontario, the WSIB and the LHINs, Ross Ayotte
