Media Rip-Off Of The Day

imageWhile they vigorously (and rightly) protect their own copywrited material, the media seems to have selective memory when it comes to the rules of attribution, and when they have an agenda… rules?
He is a Vietnam War veteran. He was concerned with illegal immigration into Arizona and decided to do something about it. Using his military skills he set about placing automatic cameras on trails used by smugglers to record people heading north. He called his site borderinvasionpics.com. For more than four years he worked and perfected his skills and in March he captured video of 700 intruders on one trail in 40 days.

Now comes KPHO TV in Phoenix, a CBS affiliate. It was so impressed with the March video of 700 intruders that it did a story about it.
But think about it: the media NOT sympathetic with illegals?
The problem is that KPHO didn’t mention borderinvasionpics.com, nor did it get permission to use the videos. It removed its logo and the copyright symbol and placed its own logo on the videos. Not only did it steal the videos, it added insult to injury by plagiarizing words used by borderinvasionpics.com, and used the video as an argument against SB 1070, the new Arizona law.
Remember that when you hear media liberals tell a vet ‘Thank you for your service.’ The more this Arizona-immigration drama continues, between Latino students and their hissy fits, loco radical teachers, and manipulating media, it’s hard to even want to see their side of the story. I will be doing a follow up on this. h/t Infidel Joe
