Before Pelosi goes running off to find Tony Bennett to lend his iconic voice to the historic event, or insists on a front row seat for her pal George Lucas, the Black Caucus should take a deep breath of current frost-rimed reality. She (Pelosi) is only “running the country” at the MOMENT.
A lot can happen in the next three weeks when President Donald Trump has said publicly that he will declare National Emergency legislation should the Democrats still not be ready to come to the table and negotiate on or before Feb. 15.
The painful sting of “Pelosi running the country” is at its most hurtful this weekend as it only came into being on Friday. It will go on hurting a little less—but still hurting— for the next three weeks until Trump returns for Round 2.

Pelosi’s imperial assumptions grate more on the nerves than her increasing brain freezes when she comes before the mic.

The crystal ball Pelosi and Chuck Schumer et al use to try to read Trump’s mind is as phony as they are.
