imageOn the same day that President Barack Obama kissed “small vehicle” resident Henrietta Hughes on the cheek, two WordPress blogs called henriettahughes.com and henriettahughes.org were launched. “Don’t worry! The mainstream media will be all over this scam just like they were with Joe the Plumber. I’m waiting...” wrote rightsideofwisconsin.com in a story called “Henrietta Hughes was a plant by the Obama Oligarchy”.

Billed as “The Face & Forum of the Economic Crisis”, http://www.henriettahughes.org was purchased on Feb. 10, 2009--the same day President Obama held his town hall meeting in Ft. Myers, Florida. Internic.ca shows the registrant as Judah Fontz, 2215 sw 20th Ave., Cape Coral, Fla. 33991. The time-stamp indicates the site was created at 18:42:26 UTC, which would make it 1342:26 EST, or 1:42 p.m. on Feb. 10. “Henrietta Hughes has brought attention to the homeless and unemployment problem in the United States. We now want you to have the opportunity to share your story of how this crisis has affected you. We are facing unprecedented times and want to provide a forum for people to be heard. Please email your comments to stories@HenriettaHughes.com and we may post your story on this website for the world to see!” says http://www.henriettahughes.com. Ms. Hughes found the president’s ear during the town hall gathering where Obama pushed his Stimulus Package. “I have an urgent need, unemployment and homelessness, a very small vehicle for my family and I to live in,” a tearful Hughes told Obama. “The housing authority has two years’ waiting lists, and we need something more than the vehicle and the parks to go to. We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom. Please help.” The story beginning and end is straight out of biblical scripture accounts of Christ feeding fish to the hungry masses. There was even a happy ending. Obama’s promise to help Hughes was provided by Chene Thompson, the wife of Republican Florida Rep. Nick Thompson, who allegedly gave Hughes a house to stay in, at Ft. Denaud, happily only half an hour away by car from Ft. Myers. “Small vehicle” status has been Hughes’ state for “a long time”, having been forced upon her when her adult son lost his job in computer programming, and they in turn lost their house. Hughes says she has been looking for a job, although she is on disability for cancer, but so far has been unable to find work. Hughes cannot be accused by GOP of voting for Obama as she did not have a permanent address on Nov. 4, 2008, but said that without a vote, she had prayed that Obama would win. “I said, `Lord please have mercy on Mr. Obama’ and the Lord did so.’” Meanwhile although the government seems intent on killing it, entrepreneurship is alive and well in the U.SA. with a total of five websites, registered by three different entities jumping on to the Henrietta Hughes bandwagon. In addition to Fontz, the other websites are registered to BE Ads, of Ft. Myers, and J. Frankel, a venture group out of Brooklyn, New York, email address of which is sales.margucci@gmail.com.
