The percentage of Americans who view killing babies in abortions as “morally acceptable” has dropped.
Americans who say killing babies is “morally acceptable” dropped to 49% this year, down from the high of 54% in 2024, according to a new Gallup poll.
The survey found 41% now say abortion is morally wrong.
As the years go by and the Dobbs ruling allowing states to protect babies from abortions ages, the initial anger the Supreme Court ruling produced has subsided more and more. The polling result help confirm that Americans and more and more comfortable with the ruling the longer they see abortion bans don’t stop legitimate health care or hurt women. ---More...
SPLC President Can’t Defend Calling Pro-Life Americans Racists
The president of the Southern Poverty Law Center was unable to defend calling pro-life Americans racist.
He also couldn’t condemn the killing of black babies in abortions as bad when directly confronted with the statistic that nearly half of all unborn children aborted in the womb are black.
Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, pressed Bryan Fair during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday on the organization’s activities.
The exchange highlighted what pro-life advocates call a glaring inconsistency in the SPLC’s positions. ---More...
The Condemnation of Killing a Baby With Down Syndrome Was Swift and Strong
Popular YouTuber Jesse Ridgway and his wife, Ashley, aborted their unborn baby because of a Down syndrome diagnosis.
Ridgway runs a YouTube account called McJuggerNuggets with 4.34 million subscribers, where he makes videos featuring scripted stories. His “Psycho Series” alone has earned over two billion views.
Last Wednesday, Ridgway went to X to announce the “very difficult” abortion decision to his large following. At first, he says, he was “shocked but optimistic,” after receiving the diagnosis. “I signed on to be a parent, come what may,” he wrote, “but I just didn’t fully understand what Down syndrome entailed.” ---More...
America is Becoming More Pro-Life, Fewer People Say Abortion is Okay
Gallup’s annual Values and Beliefs poll, which it has conducted since 2001, is always fascinating but this year’s results of 1,001 adults are especially encouraging.
“Moral Acceptability Falls for Several Behaviors” reads the headline to Megan Brenan’s story and that includes abortion and “doctor assisted suicide” (the link to a “doctor” always inflates the positives).
For abortion, asked “whether you personally believe that in general it is morally acceptable or morally wrong,” the percentage saying it was morally acceptable dropped from 54% in 2025 to 49% in 2026. 41% found in morally unacceptable. ---More...
