Mr Obama’s nose is growing

Back in the day, you would see disclaimers published in the paper every day notifying the world at large that Mr. So & So would not be responsible for any debts incurred by anyone but himself. The next day the soon-to-be-ex Mrs. So & So would get HER lawyer, and HER disclaimer would appear.

Having listened to Mr. Obama’s press conference in Sweden, I’m thinking I need to file a disclaimer that whenever you hear the word ‘we’ fall from Mr.Obama’s lips, it is safe to assume I am not included in that thought process. I suppose that, as often as he mouths off, once in a while we have to agree on something but for the most part, I am NOT responsible for what he says and vice versa. Lindsey Graham does not speak for me. Nor does any spineless member of Congress who does not have the intestinal fortitude to say, “No, Mr President.” It pains me to say that I no longer care if they do it respectfully, since I fully appreciate the loss of respect. We all witnessed an arrogant John Kerry ‘bitchslap” the Congressional committee when he snapped at them. He took a dim view of their right and responsibility to subject the Secretary of State to questioning on Benghazi. His amoral outrage was reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s outburst. She did her best impersonation of a 6-year-old waving her hands about in frustration that Congress would actually expect her to give cogent and meaningful answers to their questions regarding the deaths of our people who died on her watch. And yes, I am speaking directly to you, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell. It is safe to assume this discussion is also directed to any one else who speaks of responsibility at one moment and then goes all “sheeple” when it really matters. Washington is a shell game. Those of us outside the Beltway are just plain shell shocked. Chicago politics has metastasized to the White House, and Congress is acting like the morning after chemo is a way of life. They are acting pale and puny when it is really time to fight like a girl. It's not like we can’t see the big picture. Crimes against humanity are crimes against us all. Just because the victims are not American does not make them Children of a Lesser God. The people of Syria are suffering and karma dictates “feel their pain and ease it”. BUT, we don’t know enough about who did what to whom, and in all honesty, the guy who told me Benghazi was a demonstration of protest against the most amateur sloppy youtube E.V.E.R. lacks my confidence to determine who is the bad guy here. His nose grows weekly! I love this country, but this government shames and embarrasses me. I deserve better. You deserve better. But neither of us is going to get it if we don’t demand it. 202-224-3121 is the Congressional switchboard. Ask questions til you get credible answers. It is not just your right, it is your responsibility. Walt & Cyndy Miller Farms Equine Transport
